Physique Like a Martial Artist or Football Player?

holy shit that sounds incredible

As for the OP, you’re not in any danger of accidentally getting too jacked. There really aren’t many people who are in danger of that.

Couple secrets:

  1. All you need to look like Dolph Lundgren is 45+ years of training your ass off, and a 3rd dan black belt in karate.
  2. I think Adrian Peterson built his strength and aesthetic appearance from beating the shit out of his child, so have a kid at some point.

And I thought I had well rounded training, I best up my game!

  1. -er…its all here train like a heavy weight boxer, and be able to clean & press 4 plates and sprints/track work and pharma grade gear.
  2. -just because…

I did not remember the 200kg strict press from the montage, ver impressive.

I have no idea how people are like “Yeah I wanna get strong but I don’t wanna look like THAT” as if they’re going to wake up one morning and end up like “THAT”. More than likely, you’re going to still be closer to your current state. If you’re not even able to deadlift 135, chances are you’re nowhere CLOSE to looking “like a bodybuilder with bulky muscles”, or any athlete or actor who trains seriously.

I just started recently getting closer to my ideal goal and I didn’t even notice my body’s changes until I saw myself in somebody else’s video and didn’t recognize myself at first. I also wanted to add that being “built like a martial artist” is a wide range. There are MMA fighters who are 6’+ and 155 or bulky heavyweights, and also fat sumo wrestlers.

I don’t think being built like martial artist is all that. I used to fight Muay Thai and competed at the international level (still amateur tho), and because I walked around at 150ish, I was never taken seriously outside the martial arts circles. Other dudes would occasionally clown me, and women were simply unimpressed. For me, these problems started going away at 170s, and are gone at 190.

It’s all about the timing, bro :joy:

Sooo dark :rofl::rofl:

I look like the martial artist/football player (slightly less muscle, am not black lol).

This i think is actually exactly what happens when you’re natural and lose fat after having a good muscle base.

The bodybuilder type you posted (jeff) is on steroids. They will deny it but that is the truth. The actual “rounded” bulbous bodybuilder look (while being shredded) is only achievable via steroids or a genetic freak (of which, statsically, you’re more likely winning a lottery prize).

Other “juicy” looking pictures are usually angles & lighting while being low body fat and being in pumped state (intra workout plazma/carbs helps with this effect).

So to answer your question just lift and reduce body fat. You will naturally look like the martial artist and be a shredded natural dude.

The reason he is that “bulbous” is because he is insanely short (5’5"). When on stage he is 5% body fat and 155 lbs, putting him at an FFMI of 24.7, which is achievable naturally. Muscle fills out more on a small frame, making them look bigger. Dolph doesn’t look that bulky because he is 6’5, a foot taller. I am a short guy myself, just a tad over 5’6’'. I don’t have much real estate like Dolph. Can I still look like a hot guy, like these taller folks, or am I destined to have puffy muscles?

However, I shouldn’t worry too much, as SOUL_FIGHTER have pointed out that as a beginner I am far from that point and it won’t happen overnight. However, I would like to hear if you think I can look good at my height.

Yeah, I think you can look good at any height. Nobody who’s active has a shitty body.
