Can someone tell me how much money physical therapists generally make?

What different degrees and certifications are available and how do those effect income rates?

All I know is Physical Therapist rated the top 10 fastest growing jobs in the US. The average pay was $53,500 a year. A co-worker of mine was looking into it and I recall the total tuition was over $60,000.
