Photoshop

I cant figure out how to get someones head on another body. Ive got the 20 meg pdf user manual, and I cant get it done. Ive seen posts with some photoshop head transfer shit, so I know your out there. I have 7.0 pro by the way.

Have you tried searching the internet and not just T-Nation.com? There’s actually some decent information out there on that. Otherwise, get the book “How to cheat in photoshop – the art of creating photorealistic montages” by Steve Caplin.

He has a chapter in there about it.

Cant you just use the magic wand lookin thing and “cut out” what you want, cut or copy it and paste it onto what you want?

I haven’t used photoshop in years and don’t have it on this computer, but I vaguely remember it. In otherwords, I may very well be wrong.

The only reason I posted it here, is because I see people doing it at this website all the time. I have some natural knack with computer programs, but this one I couldnt figure out.

Select the head with the lasso tool. Press CTRL-C. Switch to the other image. Press CTRL-V, and then CTRL-T. Move and resize the head where you’d like it. Press Enter.

You mean putting other peoples heads on bodies like this…

Amateurish, but not horrendous.

come to think of it…thats a resource for everything else too.

it’s pretty easy actually. You just have to make sure the perspective is correct on both pictures so it doesn’t look weird. Take the head you want with any of the techniques for selection, such as: path tool (make a path a convert to selection), extract tool, or simply cut crop the pic to just the head and erase the rest.

The plop your head on the target photo, and adjust the size. Afterwards, delete anything with the eraser that’s not needed, and use the clone stamp tool to put in parts that may be missing.

Finally, do some color correction, adjust the brightness/contrast and hue and saturation.

With enough practice you can do it easily. Not that i’ve ever done this before, but im quite proficient with photoshop and i can tell it you its just a mix of the basic tools to get this to work.
