What’s your PR in “real” back squats?

I’ve never “real” back squatted. Oly style always felt the most natural to me so thats what I’ve always stuck with.

Cool.
I’m guessing you still had a lot in the tank during the pr set?

Possibly, it was a bit of a grinder though. This is my 5th day in a row squatting so my max strength levels are probably a bit in flux whilst I get used to a higher frequency.

Congrats on PR, pretty crazy how close your front/back squat are, but fully expecting that to change pretty quickly with focus.

I can imagine that much squatting would lower the weights at first.
Given your FS and RDL numbers I would be quite surprised if you weren’t able to lift quite a bit more than 3 plates.

Notes:
Squats were stupidly hard today, not sure what that was all about… Will be dropping the barbell incline for Dumbbell incline in future, the barbell incline was making my shoulders feel like anus. Arm blitz was glorious and inappropriate. The paaahmp was so intense I felt like this leaving the gym:

Reading over some of your stuff I think that you’re good for at least 150, and that’s being conservative.

Thats reassuring to hear! I might try maxing out on front squats in a couple of weeks after I fully adjust to squatting urryday. Thanks for checking in!

fml if we have the same FS

For incline bench, only take the bar to 1-2 inches from chest and pump out da reps, it isn’t a competition lift so perform it in manner which best stimulates gainz without painz is what I’d recommend. That’s just me though, the guy who has a sucky bench but finds incline press a 5x better chest movement.
