had to call it here as the shitty college gym management took issue with the noise of the plates rattling on the bar and I got involved in a lengthy discussion about how wrong they were…
i just lost faith in all man kind. I thought getting a lecture about how i should place weights on the ground was bad instead of speedily lowering, but weights rattling… brb jumping off cliff.
Even worse still, the “instructor” who took the issue up with me was literally obese. Not sure how that makes it worse…but it just does!
A. Front Squats:
barxmany
60kgx10
90kgx5
100kgx5
120kgx3
140kgx1
130kgx2 x5 (Pr of some sort?)
B. Clean Pulls:
60kgxsome
100kgx5
130kgx5
140kgx5
150kgx1
160kgx1 (Blergh, felt easy enough, but my lower back started flaring up so I called them. FML)
C. Oly Pause Squats (3ct Pause):
120kg @ 5x5
D1. Straight bar Cable Curls:
4x10
D2. Hammer Curls (Strict):
4x5
E. Rope Cable Curls:
3 drops sets (4 drops per set working down the stack. PUMP.)
Notes:
Nothing of note today. Knee was bothering me something fierce so my squats suffered a bit and I didn’t hit the numbers I would have liked to. The heavy clean pulls flared up the lower back pain pretty badly and reminded me why I avoid pulling heavy from the floor… Thats the last time I do that for a while.
Notes:
No time to do anything of note today so just got in, cultivated a sweet tittayyyyy, tri and back pump and got the fuck out of there. Rested about a minute or so between sets and was done in 40 minutes including warm up. Lack of gains really.
This one is amazing, I’m going to have to go think of some new ones. You keep one upping me.
Good luck brotosaurus. Let me know if you need a broton accelerator. Your bro-ography will be writ with much broccess.

Good effort, but I would have like to have seen more historical figure references, like Abroham Lincoln, Nabroleon, Broseph Stalin, Brometheus etc.

A. Front Squats:
barxmany
60kgxsome
80kgx5
100kgx5
120kgx1
130kgx1
140kgx1 (Much easier than when I did it first, a 3 plate front squat feelsgoodman.jpeg)
135kgxfail (Passed out in the hole here)
135kgx1 (Bleh, wanted 2…)
120kgx7 (+2 Pr, wanted 8 though)
125kgx5 (+2 Pr, felt very easy. Have more in me when I’m fresher)
B. Military Press:
barxsome
30kgx5
40kgx5
50kgx5
55kgx9 (PR, Got 10, but used a tiny bit of bounce of the first rep so counting it as 9)
55kgx8
55kgx8
50kgx12
C. Face Pulls:
5 sets x many reps
Notes:
Front squatting felt decent enough, the pass out rep at 135kg kind of fucked me over and it took me a while to get my head back in the game so I dropped weight and went for rep PRs. I definitely have 135kgx2 in me though, just need to not choke myself out next time… Military pressing is coming along nicely, just having to take it easy before my shoulder starts acting up again.

Genuine pass out?? Good lifting either way, you seen much growth quad wise from all the front squatting?
Yeah I got into the hole with it, my vision went black and when I came to again the bar was on the safeties. In terms Of quad growth I don’t know really, haven’t measured the bad boys recently but I’ve always been naturally quad dominant so it’s hard to gauge.
^ That’s cray. I better stop bitching about the pain on front squats with clean grip then, after all I haven’t been choked out.
My quads have got bigger when smoloving but I feel like my hammies/calves get seriously neglected in oly shoes… if you go true A2G it isn’t quite as bad but your still not going to develop “bodybuilder” calves/hams. IMHO

Good thing I don’t have to worry about such things then! I can live in asymmetrical bliss.
barxmany
60kgxsome
100kgx5
130kgx3
150kgx3 belt
160kgx2 (+1 PR, felt like more of an RDL than last time I did a single at 160kg)
160kgx2
150kgx5 take off belt
120kgx20 (PR, my hammies and lower back had plenty more in me, it was my Traps giving out first. Felt like nothing on the bar.)
B. DB Rows (Straps):
50kgx15 x3
C. Lat Pull Downs:
3 drop sets, with 3 drops per set and 30+ reps per set.
Notes:
My lower back was feeling better today so I decided to test the waters and go heavy on the RDLs, the two doubles at 160kg felt pretty decent surprisingly. I was getting much better hamstring involvement than last time I did an RDL single at 160kg when it just turned into more of a regular stiff legged deadlift. Only had about 15 minutes to get the rows and lat work done so I had to cycle through the sets like a motherfucker. It ended up feeling like straight cardio, it sucked…
