HI.
We had a persian when I was a kid, named “Puss”. I still wonder why they picked that name. But, then again, it was the 60’s/70’s.

Puss 'n Boots?
Pussy Galore?
Remember Tome Jones?
Pussycat, Pussycat
You’re delicious
And if my wishes
Can all come true
I’ll soon be kissing your sweet little pussycat lips!
Pussycat, Pussycat
I love you
Yes, I do!
You and your pussycat lips!
You and your pussycat eyes!
I love that song.

Of course I remember Tom. My mom was a big fan of his, so that could actually be the reason why the cat was named puss. I never asked, but it always made me giggle when I was a kid…
You were singing “What’s New Pussycat” while you were typing, weren’t you?
Of course now I have that song in my head… Thanks Gem.

Just last week I felt a lump on his backside. I took him to the vet thinking it was just an angry anal gland - it was a tumor. He has since had the tumor and some of his his lymph nodes removed. He starts chemo tommorow. The vet says that chemo is not the ordeal (for dogs) that it is for humans. They recover very quickly and do not lose all of their hair. We may or may not get all of the cancer cells - but it will slow it down considerably. Thanks for asking.
When I was a little girl one of my dance classes did a dance to this song. I think I heard it a trillion times.

I’m sorry to hear that and hope it goes as painlessly as possible, GI.
Let me/us know how he’s doing, ok?
Thanks, I will.

One of three of my gang. He is the poster child for Autistic dogs … a real character. The best thing about this picture is that he’s sleeping, which is always good. To say he has a bit of a shoe fetish is an understatement.
Cappy

One of the three horses. I have no idea why we have animals in batches of three right now.
Cappy

I’ve noticed that a few people have more than one pet and often mention how their pets adore each other. Here is how my butthead male and Alpha female often relate. When I snapped the picture the blue girl had been giving the redheaded fool the “bitch face” for a few minutes, which is an eternity in dog-speak. Being that he’s autistic, he ignored her social signals. Eventually she made a move to seriously kick his ass. I intervened, and no dogs were harmed in the taking of this picture.
Cattle Dogs …
Sigh
Cappy

Not enough Cattle dogs in this thread.
Ozzie, my red healer.
Mercy, my blue healer.
I know what you mean Cappy. My two mostly just “tolerate” one another. Fortunately Mercy likes sleeping on my bed, and Ozzie chills on the couch, so they have their own territories. They were destructive terrors in their younger days, but have since mellowed out over the last 12 years.
This may not be appropriate here, since its not my pet, but I thought it was worth sharing. Take a look everyone, its worth it…

Oh, i’ve seen this before. It’s awesome.
They were just on Oprah the other day. (I was told)
If I had the land and the permits, i’d get a couple of Bobcats.

Kiyah and the cat. The cats name is simply “The Cat.”
Nothing else seemed to fit.

Dog loves to swim, especially in this stream pool. It’s fed by snow melt and it’s freaking cold ass water, she loves it though.
