The EU is yet another Euro attempt at being the biggest kid on the block.
Notice how the Euro-Centric One uses the ENTIRE EU when telling us how putrid the US is doing, then has to single out Germany to show how mighty the Chinese are.
I will concede, though, that the EU is by far the largest producer of Neo-Nazi hate groups.

We are still the biggest producer as well.
What kind of a statement is that? Biggest producer of what? Wars? Lawyers? Guns?
Goods. Food. Cars. Airplanes. Computers.
We are near the top in most fields. When you add it all up we are the biggest economy and produe more than any other nation. That is why people will continue to use dollars.
You are second behind the EU, which is one reason people shift into the Euro.
China has allready surpassed Germany, Japan and the US are next.
EU ism’t a country. Yet.
Given the history of Europe, I’m surprised that they manage to agree on ANYTHING. I also can’t imagine Europe becoming one country; Hitler tried that and he got exterminated.
I don’t personally know anyone who wants EU to be more than what it is, an economic union. European parliament is the main producer of silly and sometimes harmful laws.

Otherwise China would be number four instead of number three.

I wish you were trading forex back when back in the mid 90’s. If only you thought value was incalculable and were working a desk. We could of had some fun with you. A lot of people are pretty good at calculating it. Of course business people deal in the real world not absolute terms. You know this world…Earth.

Yes we call this gambling. The trick is to repeat it ad infinitum. Since economics is not a positivist science it cannot be modeled in mathematical terms–and therefore no predictions can be made.
How many differential models do you know that can accurately predict demand–to within a degree of certainty? I’d seriously like to get my hands on them if they exist.
The only thing we can know in the field of economics are those axioms of human action: humans act with purpose to increase their bnefit and decrease their suffering. Some people are just really good at extrapolating human action on a very large scale–but again, the real trick is to never make a mistake.
The US chief scientist has told the BBC that climate change is now a fact.
Professor John Marburger, who advises President Bush, said it was more than 90% certain that greenhouse gas emissions from mankind are to blame.
The Earth may become “unliveable” without cuts in CO2 output, he said, but he labelled targets for curbing temperature rise as “arbitrary”.
His comments come shortly before major meetings on climate change at the UN and the Washington White House.
There may still be some members of the White House team who are not completely convinced about climate change - but it is clear that the science advisor to the President and director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy is not one of them.
In the starkest warning from the White House so far about the dangers ahead, Professor Marburger told the BBC that climate change was unequivocal, with mankind more than 90% likely to blame.
Can’t help but think that the Iranian move played a little role in this new attitude from the White House.

There was investigation of it you idiot. The UN weapons inspectors had been for months reporting that there where no WMDs to be found anywhere.

But while they were saying this - they were constantly being stalled, baited, and taken to sites that were not on the schedule. Hard to confirm anything when you aren’t allowed to see it.
Hans Blix even jumped Saddams ass for his cat and mouse games.
Saddam played a bluff and he fucking lost. The thing about running a bluff is - no one at the table knows shit for sure until the cards are shown.
You dumb bastards can’t get over the fact that we called his bluff. It’s not our fault he was holding shit cards. It was his.
Now all of lixy’s friends have decided that Iraq is hosting a damn ME kegger. Fine by me - I’d rather shoot the drunk motherfuckers there than have them driving drunk all over the world.

Then by all means visit your local recruiter and join the fight in Iraq.

I’ve already done my time, kiddo. I tried to get back in, but was too old. I got a waiver for prior service, and promptly failed the physical.
But I gladly pay my taxes (the portion that goes for killing terrorists anyway), and my company spends thousands of dollars each month in support of our troops.
What do you do besides posture on internet forums?

Wow, you believe the UN! You believe that they scoured the countryside unimpeded/unhindered by the honest and upright members of the Baath party!
Yet Bush lied and people died, Bush is an evil liar, blah, blah, blah. Americans never tell the truth or act in good faith. Yeah…
