Super long day at work today(15hrs) so I didn’t do much else. Was super tired all day even though I got a good nights sleep last night. Not much activity today. Just what I thought about the few times I had a minute to relax.

Time to start actually training again. My shoulder feels better for the most part and it’s time to at least start deadlifting/squatting again since I can do those with a bad shoulder anyways.

As I’ve been a lazy bastard the last few months it might be worth me starting that program for a couple months to get back into things. I’m also going to see if I can arrange things to be able to swim at lunch for 30-45min since thats something I really enjoy doing and if I’m going to try the seal test again next year I will need to improve my swim times.

I felt pretty lazy today after I got home so I did a quick circuit that was pretty easy to get the blood flowing. I came to the realization that I can do more pullups that chinups tonight. Guess I need to do more chinups more often.

Well tired again today but with a sore throat and stuffy nose so I think I’m coming down with a cold. Had some lower back DOMS today but nothing major. Felt pretty good actually.

I can tell I lifted yesterday but I’m not actually sore. Looking in the mirror today I do need to keep an eye on my diet after my week of indulgence.

Today wasn’t the day for that though as I had lunch out at a buffet but at least I didn’t pig out and ate pretty healthy but my calories probably are lower that this because I felt I overestimated my dessert. Need to stop being lazy and get a vegetable in my diet again on a regular basis.

Well was actually more sore today than I was yesterday for some reason. I didn’t feel like lifting tonight but I did get a little bit done. I can’t believe how weak my legs have gotten in the last few months.

front squats at 135lbs are now a challenge instead of easy. I’ll be concentrating on my squats over the next month or two with the goal of doing 5x5@135lbs or more by my birthday in October.

I’m also going to tweak my diet again and start cleaning it up to see how far I can get by mid-October. Look for a weight in at the end of the weekend so I can track progress.

I’m headed out of town for the weekend to put some miles on the bike before summer’s over although I’m not looking forward to it much now that my legs feel like jello.
