Crossed my mind. That may be a possibility if there were hordes of muscular people walking around, AND the said muscular people were stupid enough not to present themselevs as cattle instead of banding together and defend themselves as soon as there were reports of someone preying on them…
which would essentially pit smaller people against bigger people, and with everything else being equal (firearms, weapons, guile, street smarts) you would eventually have the big and strong feeding on the small and skinny in a post apocalyptic world order.
but in general there just ain’t enough meat you can draw from the average person and the cost of traficking/smuggling bodies, butchering them, disposal yada yada would offset the chances of this being profitable anytime soon.
Finally, MOST important, human meat tastes HORRIBLE. Most predators would pick a non human source given the option. And yes before anyone pipes up, there are some people who’ve been in situations where they’ve HAD to butcher some/many human beings for subsistence. Whoopeedoo 
Fat on the other hand, is easier to lipo without butchering someone, AND there’s no shortage of it when taken from a human source.
That said, reading the flippant replies on this thread to a serious and fairly disturbing report speaks volumes about the age and IQ of the typical TN poster.

This is and has been responsible for most shameful periods in/around history. The posters on this board are too young to understand the full import though.

Yea it terrible, but how much more beneficial would “Oh man that sucks” have been? Humans make life a pretty shitty experience sometimes, and if we all just let that shit pile up on us and carry the weight of the deaths of every person from every nation as a personal burden, then life would be unbearable. so please, dont go pointing fingers.
