Persuading Doc for Full TRT

Are there articles or professional guidelines that advise the full protocol: T + hCG + AI that I can show my doctor who’s given me a script for T but doesn’t know about the rest? Since it’s a common protocol at “male renewal” type clinics, can I assume the routine is published somewhere?

I agree 100% with the sticky (finding a TRT doc) that says it’s usually a waste of time trying to persuade a doctor, but these are cards I’ve been dealt.

thanks,
Tom

Take a look at Dr Crisler’s site www.allthingsmale.com. Look at publications, he has a protocol for TRT, and HCG. I don’t think he talks about SQ injections though, I would make sure you add that to your list. Other then that everyone here well tell you to read the stickies and that is your best bet. I’m new to this myself so I don’t have much more to offer. Good luck!

I made a thread hopefully it’ll help.

Not all doctors even believe in TRT sadly. My primary care will automatically prescribe blood pressure pills if you go just a bit over 140/90, statins and fish oils if your chloresterol is outside the normal range, but with hormones she disagrees that one should do anything if only lowered due to age.

It’s utterly nutty to me.

I found a cardiologist my friend was using and got the T+HCG+Al setup and even some Deca for my post-surgery shoulder for only the first 8 weeks.

Thanks for that link,
Crisler makes a case for hCG but only says of AI’s that their benefits are temporary.

Yes I understand. He is missing some other things that are practiced here as well. The reason I reccomended it is it’s writtn by a Dr, lol. I figured I would have better luck getting my Doc to possably read it then some of the posts on here from others when they are bashing Dr’s. I won’t know if my Endo has read it until my next visit with my first full lab.

There needs to be more information about the person. Nothing to go on.
How old are you and what other lab work have you done? Most endos only do 4-5 test. I usually have the Dr run 18 or vials of blood to look for other things which are out of balance.

If you are <35-40 then treat the cause not the symptoms which is low T.
