even though I want to train people some day when I asked this question it was because someone told me that even if I wanted to work at the desk at a gym alot of gyms will only hirre you if you have a certificate.
wow CT’s post was one of the most interesting and informative things i have read on this website, and i have been reading here for about 8 years. i have even more respect for CT now.

Not in my experience… i have worked in a few gyms in my time, and none of the receptionists had fitness certs, at one place - the gym manager didn’t either!!
