Slightly bloody left thumb on the second set of snatch grip deads so I did the third as pauses (because that doesn’t need hook grip). I dunno why my right thumb never does that… maybe I just grab things differently with the right hand. Or maybe I should try skipping the thumbs when I chew my fingernails.

One nice thing about training on a schedule that doesn’t align with the seven-day week (two days on/one day off/one day on/one day off adding up to a five-day cycle or off days) is that if I feel like lifting on what’s supposed to be a day off, I just do, and move the day off until tomorrow. It’s not stuck in my mind that Thursdays are light deadlift days, and it doesn’t really feel like I’m doing anything weird or special or off-schedule.

Probably shutting things down for the year now, taking a week off for Christmas.

1x1: deadlift 209 kg + 1x1: rack pull 209 kg
1x3: deadlift 189 kg
3x12: high pull 69 kg
1x6: bentover row 69 kg

Don’t have a rack to do the rack pulls from, so that “rack pull” was basically a half rep after the deadlift single, going to just below the knee. Baby steps…

Got a thermometer down in the laundry room where I lift. It’s been pretty warm outside for the past couple of weeks, and it’s now 11-12 degrees C inside. Perfectly comfortable lifting temperature when wearing sweats. Though I can’t do Zerchers in long sleeves so I end up wearing a T-shirt and putting on a hoodie between sets.

Not too hungover after last night, heh. I also got a hot noodle challenge and a hot chip challenge as birthday presents.
