For the dips I put another dumbbell on the ground behind me and touched it with the shins on every rep, to make sure I hit good depth. Didn’t really make things harder, so I guess depth’s been decent all along.

Observation: if you need to pee and are wondering if you should do it now or do another set or two first, the feeling of needing to pee will diminish temporarily after doing a set of pullups. I guess the bladder gets unsquished when hanging?

Tried a wider stance on the squats, sure makes it easier when going deeper. I’ve been doing them narrow for the silly reason that there’s only so much room between the sawhorses when walking out, but I realized that I can walk out and then reset my feet wider, and walking backwards isn’t a problem because they naturally end up narrower.

Was gonna do more sets of deads with fewer reps, but I kinda felt like I needed to take a dump, so I thought I’d just do a set of eight with the same weight I used for two sets of six last week, and get it over with. By the top of the eighth rep I was still feeling like I had a little left. Ended up locking out the tenth rep but that was it, couldn’t have done one more.
