1x4: behind the neck press 49 kg

Last two are one continuous set, this just seems like a less messy way to log them.

Yesterday:
21x1: front squat 89 kg

1x6: bentover row 79 kg (as finisher)
Feeling a need to change something about doing pretty much everything with fairly high reps for the past two months, so I did the front squats as a cluster of singles done off the sawhorses, resting briefly between them. By the 14th rep I figured I could do it with just three deep breaths between them, and at that rate I made it to 21 before giving up.

1x12: Zercher squat 109 kg
3x10: military press 63 kg
1x4: behind the neck press 49 kg

Still having trouble getting the bar to stay in place if I try to do the heavier Zerchers very deep. It just keeps creeping forward. But if I do most of the sets to parallel and then go deeper on the last two or three, that seems fine, because even if it does creep a bit it’s only got a few opportunities to do so.

Did a cluster of front squat singles off sawhorses, with five breaths inbetween, then a lighter finisher outside the sawhorses, going ATG.

2x10: double pause deadlift 129 kg

3x3: pullup 36 kg
1x10, 2x3: pullup
Doing three sets of 8 deads with double bodyweight is starting to feel like no big deal, but it does still take a bit long. I need to cut the rest periods down.
3x8: front squat 89 kg
3x12: db floor press 36 kg
1x12: military press 55 kg
Did the squats outside the sawhorses again, tbh probably should just stick to doing them bottom-up for a while.

2x8: deadlift 169 kg
3x3: pullup 36 kg
1x10, 2x3: pullup
Pullups felt better than the past couple of weeks, somehow, easier to get to the top of the range. Also did some gardening today - took apart the old composter, loaded a couple dozen shovelfuls of dirt into a few wheelbarrow runs and tossed it around.

Was dripping with sweat by the 16th or 17th front squat single (with five breaths between them), which is the first time that’s happened since the fall. It’s probably around 14 degrees C downstairs, so not hot yet, but this is definitely not a rep scheme which will be viable in the summer.
