And rightfully so…
The same would be true for politics in a lot of other places aswell but the uprising of the right within the EU and now again in Germany is fucking scary. Not only as shown by the poll results but in so many aspects of the social conversation, that just shifted to the right.
This is absolutely worth fighting nail and teeth against. Everywhere one encounters it. In conversations with the family. At one’s job.
Or fighting them and those who protect them on the streets as today.
I fee like I need a week worth of sleep at least. Dealing with a bout of insomnia/ bad sleep for about 1,5/ 2 weeks currently. I have grown soft as I’m not experiencing these as often as used to anymore, haha.

Which injury are we talking in this instance? Because I may have fucked up something with my right wrist on atlas stones, haha.
Also I’m not sure if I’m still getting used to my training right now, but each individual session feels reasonable to do and poses no real problem… BUT my recovery seems to be outpaced still. Jesus my back and hips are tight, walking around today. Well I’m dealing with a bout of insomnia and considerable stress, so that is a factor. But also a factor I should try to factor in with my training. Well we’ll see tomorrow.
Didn’t do the cycling cardio. Today was another protest. A very different kind of protest (not the “street fighting” kind as last week) because there was no real enemy present.
15.000 people on the streets, which is 11% of this city’s population. Very good turnout. A wave of huge protests has gone through most of Germany’s bigger cities after an undercover investigation into a secret Nazi meeting revealed their plans for the mass deportation of millions of people. Kind of similar to the original Nazi’s “Madagascar plan”. A lot of the fascists present were politicians from Germany’s very successful right wing party “alternative for Germany” (AFD), so the protests right now are directed against them and many are trying to push for a legal procedure to ban the party. Which wouldn’t ban fascists but probably set them back very significantly. It’s good that we are now gaining momentum by getting more of the silent masses to act in support of anti fascism and stand united with the outspoken antifas. To see such a broad alliance of people, that usually don’t see eye to eye and stem from such different living realities, come together to stand against fascism and the political right, gives hope.

Massive session, that I didn’t expect would go that well! 210 x 3 is certainly nothing special but better than I’d hoped for during the wave loading (202,5 kg was the minimum but was allowed to go heavier as long as it was a smooth triple and no miss). It was a pretty hard session all in all though, haha. Next week is a bit more of a deload, at least for the main pull.

Well I mean relatively speaking I did this weight for 6 reps with more in the tank pretty recently. But I’m still pretty happy with yesterday’s performance as it was under different circumstances.
