Went on a walk.
20 minutes stationary bike
Hot epsom salt bath.
I still coach a little on the side (for free) and my 18 or 19 year old female client just hit a 57,5 kg bench, 100 kg squat and 130 kg deadlift. For a 12,5 kg, a 37,5 kg and a fucking 50 kg PR respectively. All very clean and with more in the tank on the bench and deadlift. This was without a peak.
Crazy passionate and talented girl. She was so excited she cried. Her message really made my night.
This is probably one of the most “German” dishes there is. Still there is a different name for it in every part of the country and how to prepare it is also largely dependant on where you are. We here call it Braunkohl & Bregenwurst (best translation I can offer is “brown cabbage/ kale and brain sausage”). Funny thing is that there are parts of the country where that name isn’t even understood. @dicksharpe how do you call it?
I am really happy with that progress! She doesn’t really trust herself enough yet and she came to me after she got hurt lifting, so it’s understandable. We tweaked her technique and I am happy to see that she stuck to it. I really think she has some amazing potential.
We call it “Grünkohl mit Pinkel”. Half my family’s from Bremen, I think that’s what people call it up there. As a kid, I thought that name was the height of hilarity. Good stuff!
sots press were not programmed. I was just goofing around.
deadlifts: I think this is a total volume PR. Furthermore I have never moved this weight for so many reps this easy! Fucking great stuff. Concentrated on lifting more upright and pushing with my legs. I think that was good.
super succesful session but I forgot abs. Will do that at home
It’s one of those crazy magician things from the wizarding world of weightlifting.
But yeah in all fairness, a lot more flexibility than strength involved. Klokov did it with 110 kg once, lol.
