People Without Skinny Legs: Pants?

hmmm…

i hv e not seen one of “these” threads in a while.

the OP talks about not having any luck finding jeans that fit his legs, if so they are too big in the waist.

read: " i am very lean and muscular, my legs are hyooooge!"

then a bunch of of posters chime in with their similar “hyoogeness in the legs” problems.

kind of like the “what am i to do with my much too large and cumbersome penis?” threads you get over in the sex forum.

listen, i am nothing special, but i am 5’6-7", weigh 240-250, front squat close to 400, squat 500 plus, deadlift 600 plus, and i can find jeans that fit.

but again, i am not anything, but here are some stats on some stats of old friends of mine i have trained with:

frank diablo barbell, 5-9 330lbs, 800lb squat

dan varella 5-9, 275lbs, 700 plus squat

peter gudmanson, olympic shot put, Highland Games pro, 6-6 315lbs

neil gewertzman 6 feet, 30 inch thighs, 660lb squat as a 275LB master lifter usapl

tim fua, national masters record holder hammer and shot, 5-10, 350lbs,olympic squat
RAW 650lbs, power clean 400lbs, push press 365lbs for reps.

now read this: ALL of these guys could find pants that fit. off the rack.

but, who the fuck are they compared to all you mass monster/genetic freaks-o-nature?

dont mean to sound real bitchy and harsh, but i guess i do, sorry in advance, what the fuck do i know anyhow.

carry on.

It’s all about proportions, and it typically has more to do with waist to hip ratio than leg size, which you should have read was the OP’s problem.
oopsy!

you need to get fatter

Keep in mind, i’m small waisted. Someone with a small waist will usually have small legs also.

29" waist with 28.5" thighs aren’t a good combo with today’s jeans

thus the reason i posted lifting stats.

i presented this argument on many other threads like these(they all end up the same) and somebody would bring up your point.

fair enough. but in the circles i went around in, we did not measure our thighs very much, so i dont know their actual leg sizes cept for neil’s, but i posted the low body lifting stats to show that they were not just fat bastards, but had very large muscular legs.

then again you know best, cuz your smart, are you not the guy who claims 100,000 a year is a big salary for bay-area california?

i suppose from kansas you know all about that shit.
Yep, that was me.

I will agree with you that the majority that have chimed in on this thread have no idea what it is like to not fit into pants. Hence my earlier reply about american eagle and such brands.

There are however some of us that happened to be born with what many would call a bubble butt. Combine a narrow waist, high hips, and a few years of heavy weightlifting, and finding jeans that fit becomes very difficult. I had problems with pants long before my legs started growing.

bingo! thats it, just get fatter like me, and all will be fixed.

maybe you could point us to the right stores where you find your easy fitting jeans?
I have narrow hips, a bubble butt and a 34" waist. Hip-hop jeans work well for my build. Just get a plain style and wear’em with a belt.

You have 28.5" thighs? Are you really saying each thigh is as big around as your waist?

The girth of my thighs is almost as the same girth of my waist. But my thighs are not as wide as my waist (as girth and width are two different things). Check out my profile pictures. I measure from the biggest part of the thigh.

Oh and i forgot to mention i have a big ass which contributes to the pants problem.

Sorry, bud. If you want nice jeans and slacks that fit well, you’ll have to cough up some money for alterations. That’s the fact of the matter.

I guess being fat isn’t always so bad. My legs are big, like 29’s. But i had a 42 inch waist fr a while (now its like a 38) and all my old jeans still fit me… uh oh. lol.

Give another month and i might start feeling like you guys. Guess i need to invest in a few good belts…or alterations…or bigger abs…or something.

Levi’s 560’s work for me, I’m not huge or anything, well huge around the waste. I wear a 38 with 28in thighs and the 560’s work, the tapered leg sucks but they fit about right.
I’ve tried 501’s and would have had to buy 44’s to get my fat arse in them.

I’m 44 weigh 200-205 and take 34W jeans and can find the m off the rack. I buy from L.L. Bean relaxed fit. I have a pair of Ralph Lauren polo jeans, a pair of Nautica jeans, and some Levis. All the relaxed fit.

My thighs are 26" btw.

It should be no problem if you don’t shop at trendy weenie places. I go to local department stores fro my stuff or order on line.
