People Without Skinny Legs: Pants?

Where in the hell do you guys buy pants? I wear a 34" waist, but damn it, my legs will barely fit in the holes of the pants or I just end up looking like some emo kid or like I’m wearing tight girl’s pants.

Anyone have any ideas?
I too have a 34" waist, but my legs won’t fit in anything smaller than a size 40. So that’s what I wear. I have a pair of Lucky brands on right now that are the most comfortable thing I’ve ever worn…

Yeah, I’m starting to have that problem now, and it’s only going to get worse cos I’m not growing any taller but I am gonna get bigger lol - and I’m not complaining, to be honest one day I wanna have legs big enough to jutsify just not having to wear pants :stuck_out_tongue:

28" waist, 22" legs (nothing special yet but give it another few years and o_O

It’s a good thing I don’t care much for fashion. I like my baggy jeans and shorts lol

Levi’s 512 (relaxed fit) works for me. The 501s became too tight already.

As a guy with a massive squatter’s ass and definitely above average legs.

AE does not fit my legs. No way, no how.

I have a pair of Old Navy jeans that are only a little large in the waist and they’re my favorite pair of jeans.

I would recommend y’all try Old Navy.
I would like to take back my suggestion for AE jeans, I went home and checked and they are the ones that don’t fit. I am still going with Guess jeans though, the loose fit ones.

boot cut from old navy works for me at 33 waist. although during bulk i was at a 36 waist and had to get my pants from target, they seemed to be wider than the old navy’s brand around the thighs.

I’m another “great glute genetics guy”. Not huge by any means but my lower body is well ahead of the upper.

Baggy hip-hop jeans fit me well. G-Unit is probably the most comfortable brand. Just gotta pick a pair without much colorful stitching considering that I’m over 30 and aside from the jeans dress like a redneck. Some relaxed-fit Western jeans from brands as Southern Thread or Cinch fit me OK but aren’t loose enough for, say, heavy manual labor. Women dig’em, though.

Absolutely not: Bullhead jeans. No matter how wide the leg the ass is tiny.

For slacks relaxed-fit Dockers or Wrangler Riatas are decent. I also have a pair of Aigle cargo pants which are OK.

Levi’s’ Silver Tab. Only jeans that I fit into. 34x32 fits just right all over.

Ben Davis makes a “gorilla cut” pant that is really roomy all over.

hmnn yeah, I always wondered where gorillas get their pants. They’re definitely the more stylish mammels among the animal kingdom.

Avocado,

I tried on some levi’s “relaxed” fit jeans today. I went all the way up to a size 38 and they were STILL too tight. I don’t even think my legs are massive compared to most BBers (I think about 26" around, I’m not a huge guy, under 189 @ 5’9").

I have an odd size, 34"x30" due to my midget build and squatters ass and not wearing them at my belly button like I’m 80.

I might have to where khaki’s. It can’t hurt considering I work in a causal environment.

And the search continues…
I wear 34x30 Levis 569s am 5’7 with 28" thighs and 44" hips

They are the ONLY jean I have found that fit right.

Try them. I have no idea how some people weigh 501s I’d have to wear 38s to fit into those damn things.

I went to Old Navy and tried on there “loose fit” 36x30s wouldn’t fit over my thigh.

Try the Levis 569’s they should work.

Grab yourself some Levi 501s or visit your nearest American Eagle or Aeropostale. They seem to give a bit of extra room in the legs.
501s… not with my ass.

Women like tight pants. So do gay men. Just suck it up and try your luck…

Best jeans ive found in recent years were made by nautica. Im unsure of the style. Have a pair of 34" for the winter and 32" for the summer.
I havent been able to wear a pair of 501s since back in high school.

I’ve found banan republic carries loose jeans, also with American eagle (but hard to find).

In canada, Bluenotes has a good variety of loose fit.

hmmm…

i hv e not seen one of “these” threads in a while.

the OP talks about not having any luck finding jeans that fit his legs, if so they are too big in the waist.

read: " i am very lean and muscular, my legs are hyooooge!"

then a bunch of of posters chime in with their similar “hyoogeness in the legs” problems.

kind of like the “what am i to do with my much too large and cumbersome penis?” threads you get over in the sex forum.

listen, i am nothing special, but i am 5’6-7", weigh 240-250, front squat close to 400, squat 500 plus, deadlift 600 plus, and i can find jeans that fit.

but again, i am not anything, but here are some stats on some stats of old friends of mine i have trained with:

frank diablo barbell, 5-9 330lbs, 800lb squat

dan varella 5-9, 275lbs, 700 plus squat

peter gudmanson, olympic shot put, Highland Games pro, 6-6 315lbs

neil gewertzman 6 feet, 30 inch thighs, 660lb squat as a 275LB master lifter usapl

tim fua, national masters record holder hammer and shot, 5-10, 350lbs,olympic squat
RAW 650lbs, power clean 400lbs, push press 365lbs for reps.

now read this: ALL of these guys could find pants that fit. off the rack.

but, who the fuck are they compared to all you mass monster/genetic freaks-o-nature?

dont mean to sound real bitchy and harsh, but i guess i do, sorry in advance, what the fuck do i know anyhow.

carry on.

maybe you could point us to the right stores where you find your easy fitting jeans?

I seriously spent so much time looking and I’ve only found 3 pairs. Also if you want to find stylish jeans, nowadays stylish means slim-straight. Everything is becoming smaller and smaller on the thigh.

well, there is the other problem: what does stylish mean? i am a 40 year old father, with a mortgage, and i support two households. i can find “stylish” for me jeans at target. relaxed or loose fit levis. there "ultimate kackis fit as well, but a little more snug in the legs, but just fine.

Just wear sweat pants everywhere u can, thats what i do…I have the same problem at 6’2 250. I should wear 36" by 34", but with my school pants (Khakis, in private school) i need to get size 40" waist so i dont blow the crotch out of my pants. I have blew 3 pairs of pants out last year. So i just choose to look like a dumbass with a bigger sized waist. But just stick to sweatpants if you can, or just buy a bigger waist for your jeans.

It’s all about proportions, and it typically has more to do with waist to hip ratio than leg size, which you should have read was the OP’s problem.

thus the reason i posted lifting stats.

i presented this argument on many other threads like these(they all end up the same) and somebody would bring up your point.

fair enough. but in the circles i went around in, we did not measure our thighs very much, so i dont know their actual leg sizes cept for neil’s, but i posted the low body lifting stats to show that they were not just fat bastards, but had very large muscular legs.

then again you know best, cuz your smart, are you not the guy who claims 100,000 a year is a big salary for bay-area california?

i suppose from kansas you know all about that shit.
