seriously, WTF is your normal level of activity that yoga makes you sore? I have a few coworkers that take yoga and then complain for the next few days of being sore and hurting to move.
EPIC FIRST POST!!!
lol -Yoga has varying degrees of difficulty.
Do Yoga X from P90x and see how you feel after OP
Soreness generally comes from doing things that are not part of a normal routine. Yoga has a lot of poses that put people in positions far from their usual habits. I lift 4-5 times a week, hike, and play Judo. Still I can find soreness that can be traced directly back to that last 75 minute yoga session I had. With that said, yoga has never made me dread taking the stairs like the day after squat day.
Lack of mobility/flexibility.
I’m pretty sure, a yoga class would more than likely have the same effect on me to be honest.
why does this bother you?
LOL, I’ve seen some pretty big boys take an hour of yoga class and bitch for 2 days afterwards.
If one’s activity level is low, anything will hurt at first. Rather then acting so incredulous to the fact, your co-workers might benefit from your encouragement and support to keep moving.
Is your name actually Bill Giblin? What kind of mongoloid name is that?
I’m glad somebody finally said it.

Because his life is boring, so he must bug other people.

I’d imagine he’s looking for responses stating that yoga is challenging or at the very least not gay, in order to feel better about starting yoga in order to learn auto-fellatio.

I googled his name and apparently he’s dead. Which means the op is a zombie. A very whiny zombie.

HA… Mongoloid
Took a Bikram yoga (the one where you sit in a 100-something degree room) class once and while challenging and actually kind of fun it didn’t make me sore in the least. If I could afford it time and money wise I’d go at least once a week.

It’s also full of hot chicks… great scenery.
Most people are weak blobs of crap. That said you can make anything difficult…anything…
Yoga makes me sore.
It also greatly increases my flexibility and mobility. After a session I “pop” and shift for hours and feel pain dissipating and range of motion increase.
I don’t care what the recent article on stretching said. I’ll take anecdotal broscience over lab geek shit here.
Yoga doesn’t make me sore. Great way to relax after a tough lifting session.

At 100-something degrees pretty much everything is hot.

That article was awful. And Raj, apparently most yoga classes are but the one I went to was during odd hours so it was mostly old yoga ladies aka dirty hippy broads. They were all really friendly though, so that’s cool. I imagine the “yoga community” is no different than the “lifting community” in their relationship with their hobby.
