Was it the Earth Balance stuff? That’s a staple in our house. [/quote]

Yeah. I had never seen it before, but anytime I walk into any type of market, especially the more upscale or natural type stores, cruising the nut butter isle is an absolute must.

Isle? Is this a relatively new development? I usually just go to run of the mill grocery stores, so is this like a Trader Joe’s/more top end type of grocery store type of thing?

I found the various nut butters! Got the Almond and Cashew and they are both very good. There was also the peanut/coconut, chocolate, and a whole variety of combinations of nuts/oils.

Thanks Buckeye Girl and Stu.

Are you implying they have islands instead of aisles at the more upscale stores?

Lol, sometimes they just need that much space.

Aisle, isle? If spell check doesn’t tell me I don’t distinguish the difference.

Anyways, I meant that there would be an whole aisle of these products. I usually do the “stick to the perimeter” shopping strategy and have very little idea what may be on the inner aisles. The grocery store I usually go to has added a whole bunch of higher end stuff though, so this was a surprise to me.

Great alternative to the classic peanut butter too. My son tried it and loved it. People “in the know” say to hold off on peanut products for toddlers till they’re 2 (and even then they shoud be tested for allergy first), and since he grabs and eats everything I do, the cashew and almond butter is extra bonus awesome.

Nuts to You Almond butter, crunchy only.

Peanuts are difficult to digest, full of mold, and farmers use them to suck pesticides out of the earth when they can’t grow anything else.

I started eating Almond butter about 2 months ago after I found out peanut butter was a no go.

After 2 months I am 100% convinced that almond butter is the new crack. Seriously I’m addicted to it. I ate an entire jar in one day like a week ago…no shame

I keep a jar in my car incase I get hungry and don’t want to stop at some shitty fast food joint.

It didn’t even take me that long. Almond butter with raspberry preserves sammich has a deep hook.

‘Nut butter’ sounds like it’s in reference to… never mind.

I prefer crunchy. There is an extra crunchy out there, and I will pick that up.

I used to eat peanut butter and peach preserves on crackers during two a days in High School. I am craving a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I am so hungry.

You creamy types disgust me.

I suggest Justin’s Maple almond butter is the Cadillac of nut butters, they sell it in little single serve packs at most places… Do yourself a favor and spend the dollar.

I have a store near my house that sells cashew/pecan/ walnut butters… Might have to try them.

I would love to live on Nut Butter Aisle

Oh oh…we’re all gay. ( I saw this on TV a week ago or so and wanted to post it in theis thread)
