PCT After One Injection? A Lesson for Those Looking for a "Magic Pill"

TLDR: Took one dose of T enanthate and Primo due to foolishness and impulsivity and now questioning whether I need PCT or not…

Hello friends. This post will most likely anger and cringe a lot of you, rightfully so, so I kindly ask for your patience if possible.

I’m a 24 years old man with some signs of low T. I was in a bad mental state, looking for the magic solution to all my problems. (Going to therapy for this) Blood results comfirmed the low T by the way. (350 ng/dl T, 21 E2, average LH/SH, sadly no SHGB/Free T, good thyroid markers, average lipid and glucose markers),

Possibly relevant or non relevant info: 24 yo, sedentary, about %30 body fat, tall/masculine, low body hair, ADHD (Ritalin user), low libido/weak erections, muscles get sore with relatively low effort, not even worked out in my life, smoker, once a month alcohol, really good endurance considering my lifestyle, habits and body fat, low motivation even with good ADHD treatment, love the life but having problems living it, bad sleep etc.

Bought pharma grade Test Enanthate, Primobolan and HCG. Plan was 200 mg T enanthate, 100 mg Primo and 500x3 UI HCG per week to improve my symptoms while checking the process with blood results and how I feel.

Here comes the part that will even baffle you more. T, Primo, HCG came 3 days ago. Injected 200 mg T Enanthate and 100 mg Primo. (Was going to inject HCG the day after.) After the injection there came the cathartic thoughts. “Do I really need it or am I looking for the magic solution? Am I actually looking for a easy way out? Am I actually ok with injecting through my life? Can I actually improve my T significantly by lfiestyle choices or am I actually a TRT candidate? Am I actually romanticising TRT, fall for the trap of the shillers and think it will make me superhuman?” and stuff like that. Before you say I asked those questions myself 100 times before purchasing the Testosterone. My mind looking for the magic pill rationaled the answers I wanted not the answers I needed. If you want to convince yourself on something your mind is the greatest expert at doing so. We are sadly emotional creatures facading with the rationalist masks.

I sadly realised I have fooled myself most likely looking for the magic solution and I regret my uneducated, impulsive TRT+ attempt. Now I decided I will dedicate my a year of my life setting good habits to improve my endocrine health (and health of every other system of course) like strict sleep hygene, good nutrition, fixing macro/micronutrient deficiencies, reasonable cardio and resistance exercise etc. If after a year of lifestlye changes my lab results and general well being doesn’t improve significantly I will consider TRT under the guidence of a good endocrinologist and clinic.

So my question: Do I need PCT to restore my Testosterone after just one injection of Testosterone Enanthate 200 mg and Primobolan 100 mg? Common consensus I saw was “nope you are fine.” but I found a post on Reddit, since I don’t know if sharing links here is ok I will try to pharaphrase it. Reddit OP linked a study demonstrating since T Enanthate is a ester with long half life it can significantly reduce LH and FSH after cessation of the use. (I can post both the Reddit post and the study if it doesn’t violate the forum rules). So I am confused, do I need PCT or not?

I have access to HCG and SERMS by the way. (and HMG, don’t know if it has any uses in my case)

If my foolishness be a lesson and help just one person considering doing something similar to what I did I am happy. Sometimes a calamity works greater than a thousand advices and I seem to learn from experience rather than wisdom. I need to learn to listen, life is too short for learning it all with bad experiences.

Thank you for your help.

No, your levels won’t be shut down after one shot.

Hello, checked the forum rule and it appears sharing links are ok as long as the link is safe and is not intellectual theft. So here is the link:

What do you think? Thanks for the help.

I think if you looked at the actual study you’d see that the test subject’s TT levels would have rebounded >90% at the 6 week mark and near 100% around the 8 week mark.

The study itself is good information, but someone else analyzing it can put a spin on it that is misleading.

You’re fine. If you find worsened low T type symptoms after 6-8 weeks re-run bloods, and seek treatment if needed. With just one shot, you may be taking more of a chance messing with your body with your unnecessary PCT.

No…

Putting the dots in so you can give a two letter answer :joy:
