i see pictures! doh about the drop box. that is exactly the kind of thing i’d do. i woulda thunk a drop box would kinda look like a post box. no idea why. glad things worked out okay and that your yurt was warm.

There’s just more of you to love now!

Well, I’ve been back to the 5am classes this week. Today I’ve gotten back on the diet bandwagon, but I’m not sure what I want to do for my workouts this semester. I need a kick in the pants, I just don’t know how to make that happen. I’m going to babble a bit and hopefully something will emerge.

I think I’m going to focus on push ups this month. I’ve been supersetting them with the inverted rows, and not really focusing on them so they haven’t progressed that fast. I think if I take a month and just focus on them, they’ll progress much faster.

I think I may actually tackle running this month too. I did an easy pace the other morning and actually enjoyed it. Shocking, I know.

Lifting… oh, I don’t know what I want to do. I don’t think BW will fill that niche right now. At first the rows and push ups felt overwhelming and were enough for the lifting, and yeah progressing them is of course hard. But since I’ve laid the ground work they’re not all encompassing any more. I want something different, and sitting here I’m wondering if that means the opposite of what I’ve been doing? High rep not so simple? Maybe I’ll do a figure girl sort of routine for a bit? They’re the opposite of simple. I will go look for one now.

Oh, and I’ve been playing with my hair a lot lately. Yesterday’s bun!

I took them for quick trips to the outhouse, but didn’t walk with them in the cold. I have done trails over the summer in them. It’s a bit odd at first, you feel every twig and have to be really careful about nooks and crannies so you don’t twist your ankle. Overall though I like them for day hikes when I’m not carry much weight. With a loaded pack, I worry about my ankles too much. In my boots I confidently step on every surface; not so much with the merrells.

Nice bun(s)!

What’s going on here, Patches actually talking about shoes? Whats the world coming to?

Happy New Year!

I wear the Merrell Pace Gloves to school, Vibrams to the gym. I think my bright pink Vibrams would scare the shit out of our headmistress, whereas the Pace Gloves looks sorta normal.

Glad you had fun. Wish I could play with guns but, well, illegal over here. It was always hard to get a handgun license in the UK - you had to be a member of a gun club and so forth - but then a guy shot up a school in Scotland and killed a bunch of kids and they were banned outright. Interesting bit of trivia is that the school (Dunblaine) was the one Andy Murray (tennis player) went to and he was there at the time. I don’t think he’s ever talked about it in interviews, though.

Anyway, nice bun indeed, and good luck with those push-ups. I find it best to do them with shoulder-width hand spacing to avoid shoulder stress. Doing a lot of them can also be hard on the wrists so I often just grab a pair of dumbells to use as push-up handles.

Ok, found one. Waterburys Article from way back when. I know it got a lot of shit, but I’ve always like CWs stuff and a month isn’t going to kill me. I’ll do at least a month, and just do it to the T. Sexy Female Training

Diet wise it’s just 3 days low carb with the 4th day being high then repeat, so a 4 day cycle.

Training

D1: Circuit 12 reps for 4 cycles; 90 sec rest btwn circuits
Reserve Hyper
Band Pull Down
1 Leg Bridge on Bench hold for 2 sec
DB Shoulder Press Palms Facing each other
Reverse Crunch

D2: Bird Dog hold each side for 45 sec for 4 reps
30 min running

D3: 10 min jumping rope
Walking Lunge 5 sets x 6 x 6 ea leg
Incline Push Up 5 x 6
DB Romanian DL 5x6
Side Raise 2x 50
Wall Sit 5 sets to failure with 45 sec between

D4: Stretch

Repeat

Like I said before, I’ve done the AM thing this week.

M: Sucked. I incline walked a bit and then just foam rolled
T: Spin!

W: Yoga
PM I hula hooped then 100 KB swings. I couldn’t really get the hip hinge to feel right. Some of it was time off, some of it was how fucking crowded the gym was. I’d start to get in a groove then someone would walk way too close to me. Really fucktard, you want me to hurl this 30lb weight at you? I ended up having to move all over the gym, it was a mess.

Th: I did 5x5 puch ups on the bench and then told myself to run a mile. I didn’t run a straight mile, but I did run a mile. I’m going to have to make a good cadence playlist and just suck it up and buy nice headphones.

Lol, I found a DIY Glitter shoes tutorial I’m waiting to try out. Glitter shoes seem so impractical to buy, but if I can do it for under $5, why not?
