danish festival 5k? that would be cool…buuut, I have no idea what the future holds for us. we only come up this way 1-2x a year.
could all change though. I’m speaking in riddles
Mango cake - you will have to wrestle that out of my cold dead hands if it ever got near me. Wait no, you actually do BJJ…um…you’ll have to find me in whatever dark closet I’m hiding in.
And those boots are awesome! I have similar ones in a dark brown. I pretty much wear them everyday with leggings. I hate pants. HATE THEM!
You have really nice hammies btw
Also, a Hallie/Patch NYE extravaganza? I will be jelly!
Also, I like how you “wandered” into the weight room. lol! Sounds like the beginning of a porno that ends with someone messing up the bench press. Naughty, naughty Patch!
Maybe a Danish festival is where everyone gets together and eats pastry?
Another vote on the boots. They’re pretty nice. I might consider getting something like that (if I had money, which is the problem) as I can no longer wear heels and had to get rid of all my boots recently.
It was actually the husbands great great great, etc grandparents that came here from Denmark to settle what is Greenville.
Patch- we may be moving here temporarily if the hubby is let go from the military next year. The kids and I would move here for some family support(for a change!)
The hubby wants to go flight school down in FL and potentially become an airline pilot. Either that or sheriff of Greenville, LOL!
It allll depends on if he advances off of this next and FINAL exam in March. He gets one more chance and the odds are not in his favor. If you are in the military for a certain amount of time and you don’t make rank, then you get the boot. But at least nowadays they give a years worth salary.
Ok those boots I can comment on, they look nice & comfy, like riding boots, just need a tiny bit more heel to be practical, but they look like they are nice to walk in.

Thanks! I too hate pants. I found fleece lined leggings on sale. Win, pure win!
Man, I wish. Hot ginger was at the gym this morning. Why do I only see him at 5am ?!? I’m not at my best then, ugh. I fell asleep with my hair wet so I’ve got an afro like thing going on, and I’ve got 5 extra pie pounds.

The sit around and eat pastry part is more like it, and the demographic is usually the sit around and eat pastry type. We’re in Michigan, not exactly the land of the pretty.
I got them on black friday sale! Only 29.99 marked down from 129.99. It’s what got me at the store at 7am. Do you look online?

Sheriff of greenville, I’m having dirty thoughts about men in uniform now. Omnomnom (Have I grossed you out now?)
Making rank means taking a test? I thought you just got it over time. I know nothing about the military.

Ooh, I like the boots! I have yet to transfer leggings out of the gym, I can never figure out what’s supposed to happen on the top half.
Well done getting in some spin morning after thanksgiving-tasting food from 6 hours prior is never fun.
Nothing, I think it’ll be best if you go for just boots. I bet the natives would be happy.
I just keep on wearing my dresses, I just winter them up with leggings and if it works a shirt under and scarves. I’m very hobo in the winter. Long sweaters work too, and occasionally not so long sweaters. I likes my butt, if I want to wear tights as pants, I will!

Yeah, I wanted as flat as possible. I was pretty surprised by the number of boots with hidden heels. You know they look flat from the outside, but have a giant wedge on the inside. Who wants that?
Sunday PM:
I felt bad about my 700+ calorie Chipotle experience so hit the gym right before closing yesterday.
Knocked out some box jumps 25 jumps x4
My earphones don’t stay in for these though, what do you guys do for musics while jumping around? I can’t deal with the gym’s country/soft rock for Cardio.
Did some of my pushup/inverted row stuffs, didn’t really count though, just played.
Then I attempted single leg stuff. Nothing was working. I can do things where one leg is planted and the other works, but one in the air and I just had no idea what to do. I read the whole article about sit down then get up using just one leg, but getting up just wasn’t happening. More research is needed.
