Panzerfaust vs 2012 - 531 Full Body

WOw, thanks for the detailed response!

Maybe I am doing them wrong? Lol

I do them on all fours, but my knees are touching and I think I roll out too far.
I thought that was supposed to make it harder. Maybe I will shorten my range of motion and do some pausing/holds and whatnot.

In the mean time I’ll continue trying the standing version and just accept the fact that I will probably do a face plant, ha-ha.

My workout log is in the powerful women section if you ever want to stop by !
When I’m at work I tend to write longer posts haha.

Yeah I usually do them with my knees about hip width apart, not entirely sure what difference that makes biomechanically though.

The important part (in my humble opinion) is pushing your butt backwards before initiating the kneeling rollout. And going forwards you aren’t supposed to go to absolutely flat, as you tend to lose your back rigidity after a certain point.

Slowing it down is definitely a great idea. Enjoy the faceplants! =)

Cheers

Hey your making great progress on your 531ing, and those standing ab rollouts seem terribly evil!

are we still racing to a 205 oh press? haha.

Cheers! I’m loving the Full Body Training. And yes they certainly are haha. I suggest you try them if you are feeling too happy in life and wish to moderate this with some suffering.

Ok how about this:

Race to bodyweight overhead press! I’m 90kg, you are around 80 yeah? That seems a bit more realistic and equal opportunity

This is the approach I figure would work best:
-smash the roids for 6 months, whilst eating everything I see including small domestic animals, gaining insane amounts of muscle and strength.
-utilise pre-BB comp methods to starve and dehydrate myself to an absolute minimum weight; pure muscle of course (with some bones and organs and skin thrown in to keep me legit).
-testing day; load up on High GI carbs and methamphetamine, and press my bodyweight into oblivion then punch some holes in the walls.

hahaahaha!!! Love it. I don’t think you’d have to smash 'roids for 6 months though, i’m sure 3 would do  By the way there is no prize (except pride) in beating me.

Haha, don’t worry dude, no prize required.

My world is built upon internet bragging rights.

DB Side Bends (25kg)

NOTES:

-Pretty happy with the bench, although I develop a marvelous double chin when performing it.

-Decided to add weight to my chins; was a bit lacklustre in extension but hey, I’ll work on it.

-I like side bends =)

-Had a headache through the workout, which was rather annoying.

And a video - I apologise for the poor lighting and would like to point out that my first chin up set was better - of course, I didn’t video that one :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m here for the metal, ‘roids and mass murder. Also, that NZ Hardcore band is friggin’ awesome (or i guess it’s was awesome). It kinda reminds me of “tough guy” hardcore, so i’m imagining a room full of people beating the shit out of each other. However, then i remember it’s NZ and the room full of people turns into flight of the conchords…

Too many dicks on the dance floor!!

bahahahahaha and now that little tune will be stuck in my head all day.

"Too many dicks on the dance floor
Easy to fix
Too many dicks on the dance floor
Spread out the dicks

Too many dudes
With too many dicks
Too close to my shit
Too hard to meet chicks
I need better odds
More broads, less rods
I came to do battle
Skedaddle with the cattle prods"

Haha yeah man, their gigs were insane violence. Circle pits, windmills and roundhouse kicks for Africa. A side bonus to the great music was watching a couple of people get KTFO every show.

I am not into violence against women (unless they are murderous ninjas), but one particularly ruthless scene I remember was seeing was this drug-crazed girl coming into a circle pit swinging her handbag full of beers at everyone, then this guy spin kicked her in the jaw and she dropped.
A bit later, we were having a drink in the carpark after during intermission and she walked past us looking all messed up. My mate asked if she needed any help and she then proceeded to rage out and kick the shit out of him with her stilettos while I rolled around laughing. It was crazy.

Good benchpressing man! you made 77,5kg look easy

ps. Didnt get the book, because we lost our internet connection that day :frowning: , but I will probably buy
it next week when I get my monthly student loan payment.

Phase 1/Cycle 3/Week 2/Day 3

FRIDAY 09.03.12
Squat
5 x 55
5 x 67.5
5 x 80kg

Press (3/3/X)
3 x 45 / 5 chins
3 x 50 / 5 chins
9 x 57.5kg / 5 chins (rep PR)

Deadlift (PL 5/5/5)
5 x 107.5
5 x 125
5 x 142.5

Hanging leg raise
10,5,4,3

NOTES:

-OHP went pretty well, tweaked something in my middle upper back pretty badly on the heavy set though. I’ve done it before - was a bit loose with my form while trying to thrash the weight up… all good.

-Tried to focus on speed for my deadlifting today; 5/3/1 for Powerlifting (deadlift only) had me just doing set reps today.

-Was going to do 30 HLRs but really wasn’t feeling it today

…in more exciting news, I ordered a Glute Ham Developer for my dungeon!!!

…and a video (albeit a tad dark… must get a fluro light.)

Oh, and bodyweight remains around 89kgs.

Good militarypress panzer

You bought a GHR for your home gym? I’m incredibly jealous. Nice liftin’ man.
