Pants Suck

I’ve always erred on the side of wearing clothing that’s a little too big rather than a little too small. I figure that if you’re truly jacked, it will show reagardless (90% of the folks on here should read that last sentence again just to make sure you understood it).

EVen though I’m presently cutting, and just below 190lbs, I’m wearing the same 34" waist pants I wore when I weighed 220lbs. You know why? Because the ‘weight’ wasn’t all fat sitting around my ass and gut. Sure I have to cinch my belt up a bit (4 notches actually), but again, if you truly have enough muscle size, and shape, it will be evident without having to have your shit custom tailored (within reason of course, suits won’t fit well, we can all agree on that)

Threads of this nature are a waste of space.

That tuxedo kilt is so fucking awesome. I feel like getting married just so I can wear it at a wedding.

You can’t be big at 6’ 200? I think Arnold won mr olympia at 6’ 220. Arnold was freaking huge.

Reality is that you can be big @ 200 if you are very lean, maybe 5lbs of bodyfat. The same dude can prob go up to 225 and still see his abs with the same amount of LBM.

As for pants that will fit you, another vote here for American Eagle’s low loose style.

I still can’t get a pair of pants from AE to fit me… I tried the loosest ones. I have a huge ass and thighs, lol.

Gap loose fit are awesome…

Arnold was 235 in contest condition.

This guy is admittedly nowhere near that condition and 30lbs lighter.

No one is disputing whether or not you can be big at 220 lbs. People are saying that this guy is not big enough to have to worry about getting his legs into pants. Sorry, please play again.

Am I the only one who thinks the OP is joking?

I had gone to 5 malls, over 20 stores, and tried on at least 100 pairs of pants.

I have a 30" waist and just over 25" thighs. (my legs are big compared to the rest of me…my upper body is not up to par)

I also got a suit for Christmas. I had to get 38" pants for them to fit properly.

I finally found Levi’s 569’s (had ot get the 32" waist…so still a little big) Do NOT talk to me about pants.

And yes, B rock, I’m surprised you didn’t use the search function  That’s how I found out about the Levi’s.

Give Gap a shot… I used to do the Levi’s thing too. I’m tall however, we may have different body types. Gap jeans just seem to be more “stylish” than Levi’s, while still accommodating me.

I’m 6’3", 250 right now dieting down. Even when I was pushing 270, they worked. Haven’t measured my legs and am too lazy to do so right now. My ass is my worst enemy in this battle, however, my ass-to-waist ratio, if such a thing exists, kills me.

i have LRG 47 fit that fit fine

and a pair of LRG straight legs but w/ a 36 inch waist.

im also 6’ 210

idk dude, it isnt hard to find pants that fit, the baggy style went out in 2006 dude.

Gap jeans are “stylish” if by stylish you mean “not stylish.”

Also, OP said pants. Not jeans. And there is a big different between the two and what’s available in each. Depending on what kind of pants he means, there is a wide range there too. Dress slacks are not very large anymore.

Same problem but I have a 30’’ waist so I look really weird if i wear regular leg size 30 jeans. I will have to admit the gap jeans do work, I own a few.

I like having jeans that fit snuggly around my thighs and ass but that’s it. The lady friend seems to like it:)

Even if when I stand up my pants get stuck on my thighs. Whatevs, man. Whatevs. It takes 5 seconds to pull them down again.

Actually I was indirectly commenting on BG’s post where she says that “200 isn’t big unless your talking about midgets.”

Have you or anyone else seen the OP try to squeeze into the new style jeans that the kids are wearing? Maybe he doesn’t want to wear lee dungarees or wranglers. If he says that his legs won’t fit then I take his word for it. Anyone who has tried on a pair of those will know what he is talking about. That’s why I threw up the AE loose suggestion.

Well, I can wear them to the bar or out to dinner at a semi-casual place and they look plenty like “designer” jeans… or whatever it is that you consider “stylish” nowadays.

I doubt you could look at me and identify Gap jeans, is what I’m saying. They get the job done without sacrificing comfort.

Some people like to get really pissy about trivial things cough Stronghold cough

Some people get tired of seeing the same stupid thread over and over again every week.

I see tons of similar threads all the time (check out my hawt abz, does NO explode work?) But I don’t get all up in arms about it dude. Relax…this is an internet website.

I went home and rechecked and just as some of you (and myself) thought I was off by a bit. My legs are 28" not 32" (whoops!) at the largest. Like I said a few posts back, I’d eat my words if I was wrong. I’m man enough to admit it.

Doesn’t change the fact that some pants don’t fit me. Nor does it change the fact that other posts in the past are similar. Nor does it change the fact that others will post the same shit again.

As well as that some people will still find a way to be petty about the dumbest things online where shit really doesn’t matter.

My god that moo moo picture is disturbing

Okay, I haven’t been in an Gap for probably 5-6 years. I just checked their website, and it does look like they have finally joined the modern world of trendy denim. They have closed the Gap (see what I did there?) between them and the premium denim manuf’ers. I recant.

Talk about getting pissy about stupid things on the internet… Elano, midgets, I was talking about midgets. Do you honestly think that comment was meant to be taken seriously?
