P28 High Protein Bread?

Anyone ever used it? They had free samples at my local grocery store this past weekend. Looks amazingly badass for bread. Each slice has 14 Grams of protien. So If I make a Tuna Sandwich with two slices, Can of tuna and a slice of cheese, Mayo, some green olives and roasted red peppers… It’s like a 60-70G protein Sandwich!

whats in it to have the protein? are veg sources less bioavaliable than animal?

Surprised to find that it’s wheat protein isolate and whey isolate. No soy.

How was the taste, homeslice?

I doubt you’ll find it in Whole Foods, as I don’t think they carry anything that contains sucralose.

If you do well with eating wheat, its not a horrible choice. Though it has a couple questionable ingredients…

Right, I mean it’s not “the perfect bread” but fuck I eat bread anyways cause I’m not a bodybuilder or anything. I usually just get wheat or potatoe bread thats on sale cause i’m cheap. But If I can get some protein bread, I’d pay the extra.

I haven’t tasted it yet, it’s still sitting on my counter. I’ll eat it at lunchtime and report back.

ok so the bread is… spongy? Springy? Chewy? Rubbery? it’s just a little odd. The flavor is fine, a little nutty, but whole wheaty for the most part. I couldn’t get past the consistancy. Maybe toasting it would deal with this issue. If not, it’s not something I’d incorporate into my diet.

why cant we have bread infused with bacon?

Unsprouted bread ftw.

That stuff is shit.
