Same here. I love it man.::::: it works quick. Within 1 hour I feel the levels rising every time. I am at 3 am and pm. Sometimes I take 2 because of the injections I was taken and have to allow that to leave my system.
No waiting 6 weeks for levels to stabilize, that must be great. Knowing how quickly I metabolize testosterone, fat chance creams would work for me.
I only respond to TRT when levels are nearly static, almost no fluctuations.
This 4 click approach (2-2) has been an absolute revelation. I’m loving it!
No levels are stable and better than with injections. Take 2 am and pm. Or whatever you take. Your levels will stay stable for 36 hours. 6am dose. 6pm dose.
It might also keep your estrogen lower since that’s a problem for you. The latest study does backup these points.
Stable and lower e2 conversion.
I started TRT with nearly as high SHBG as you and after a few months at 180mg then 200mg its now back down almost in range. E2 barely moved for me either. I dont understand the ins and outs but high dose TRT seemed to do the trick, my free T is at a good level now.
Nice! Congrats. Guessing you are doing Test E injectable? What is your dosing frequency?
Yeah Im injecting, half inch insulin needles pinned sub q. Dose split into 3 (E3D), mainly to lower the amount injecting at a time.
I’m switching from cream to injectable T (primarily for purposes of convenience), and I also plan to apply subQ. My protocol is 2X/week. Do you, as a fellow astronomical SHBG guy, think 3X/week is superior? I don’t mind injecting more at one time, just not sure what would be best.
From what iv heard high shbg guys hold onto T for longer so can inject less frequently, I like 3 times a week as im only using a small amount each injection. You have to watch for what ester your using as some have a long half life and more frequent shots may end up overlapping if you see what I mean!
I’ve seen high SHBG guys inject daily and do well, but you’re correct as they do bind androgens well, too well in fact for their own good.
I had lackluster results with SUBQ. After being on IM for a while, I tried sub Q again, and it felt as though I didn’t even inject testosterone. I tried another shot, still felt like shit. Going back go IM, I felt it within days.
I have “higher” SHBG, 50 range. I use 27g half inch, shallow IM. Delts and quads. Not switching back to sub Q ever.
i was thinikg the same thing … how goes it now?
why is that? i was injecting in my lower stomach fat pad for first few weeks then switched and i began injecting into my glute - for both i am using the one piece insulin syringe. At first I was under the assumption that i was making the switch to IM but was later told the little Insulin needle wasnt reaching my muscle (even though i am lean) …
i have been under the impression that SubQ is a better protocol so your post surprises me
SubQ lacks the peak that IM has. Which I think is needed for me to “feel” the test.
The low and slow approach of sub Q just left me feeling blah.
On IM, there is no question whether I feel it or not. I feel it. My gym numbers prove it.
hmmm … wonder if that would work better for me. i dont feel anything at the moment and Lib is zero
Why are you switching for confidence. It’s like brushing your teeth lolll takes 2 mins. Just be careful. Your not going to get the same levels as you did on cream. Your also going to have to wait 6 weeks and tweak and continue tweaking.
You should be waiting for 4-6 weeks before making adjustments on cream also man. Your hormones are still going to be in flux even if you dont have to get a build up like injections. Hopefully your doing it with at least labs to make an adjustment and not swinging blind
I have a doc who manages it.
There’s a big difference. Levels aren’t going to flux for 6 weeks on creams like they do on injections. You reach steady state quick and as long as you dose on time it stays steady. Show me where it says otherwise.
Your e2 .and other hormones still have to adjust to different levels. I’m on a cream too bro and doctor still waits at least 4 weeks. Believe what you want man but I don’t agree with what your saying.
My doc wants me to wait 4 weeks to. But the cream does not take 4 weeks to build up t in your system. I’m not taking about estrogen and such. Just the basic difference between the two. Your right the body changes and adapts.
