FYI son had a huge acne cyst in outer ear and Dr had me alternate the clindamycin/perioxide with tretinoin cream everyday and it did the trick. That took a while but it worked without giving my son a strong oral antibiotics which I refused.
I only use the clindamycin/perioxide usually. Used both only for a a Big cyst looking one on my middle back.
@physioLojik thank you for the informational post. I truly appreciate the perspective. Since you mention alcohol, me as a moderate drinker (2-5 a day), and TRT patient, what are the guidelines you give your patients? Do benefits of TRT require complete abstinence? I give it up here and there for long stretches but my “who really gives a fuck or REALLY knows anything?” will creep back into my brain. It is really my only vice and my way of misbehaving against what is expected, admittedly childish. My health markers and numbers have always been good enough that my doctor has never questioned anything.
Hey man no worries. Yea if you feel good and your markers are good I wouldn’t worry. That being said - I’m down with a glass of wine a day or a good stout beer. But five drinks a day is a pretty high amount when you’re asking your liver to clean all that shit up are you decently lean right now? @NH_Watts
I am not decently lean. I would say Im at about 20% BF. But that’s down from close to 30% a year ago. I lift heavy 4 days a week focusing on S,B,D, OHP and follow those sessions with either 10 mins HIIT or 15 minutes of weighted sled pushing. Then 3 days of 30mins on elliptical doing HIIT. Any additional suggestions @physioLojik ? Thanks.
Similar to AI use, I constantly see HCG pushed hard on this site. Specific reasons why HCG is recommended appear to be: 1) preserve fertility, and 2) protect against testicular atrophy. In your opinion are either of these valid reason to implement HCG? I honestly don’t think I’ve ever read a con to HCG use on the site…possibly the risk of elevating E2. What do we need to know about HCG and in general ballpark terms, why would one to consider not using it?
I’m not physiologik but I MAY be able to calm your worries about this. Using a smaller gauge needle can greatly reduce scar tissue build up, so can rotating Injection sites. Sure, a smaller needle takes longer to pin but I’ve used INSULIN needles to pin primoteston depot… That’s no easy task considering how thick the stuff is, but it works. However I prefer 25-27 gauge needles @mrmeeseeks
I’ve read many people explain good results temporarily when going either up in test dosage or back down… Maybe staggering is something to be more closely looked at.
I’m moving towards that’s type of cycle @anon10230041
@roscoe88 When I first started researching TRT, I would read stories of guys having breakthrough libido bursts. It always happened when they increased or decreased doses.
Honestly, when I’m feeling good, I want sex every few days. When I’m zeroed, and using this method, Ive wanted sex everyday, and also had the urge several times throughout the day, brought on by mental and physical stimulants. Wife is super happy.
In on this thread. I love reading what @physiolojik has to say. Super informative. Glad he takes time out to post here.
I am on 200mg/wk (100mg twice a week–Mon/Thurs). I may try to stagger by a bit to just see if I feel better. As of right now I feel pretty great! I do have some acne on back/shoulders area. But not too bad. I do 500iu of hCG twice a week as well and no AI. Had blood drawn a week ago just to see where I’m at after 7 weeks on this protocol and hemotocrit was 46 and E2 at 76 (no high E2 symptoms that I’m aware of). I know @physioLojik says high E2 with high T is OK. Waiting on the Testosterone levels as they screwed up the lab and needed to redraw to re-test testosterone. So will be interesting to see how high I am at the trough of injecting.
I have put on 20lbs of weight and a hell of a lot stronger in the gym and never sore the next day.
