Way to go Coach Tuberville! Leave it to a football guy to get people united!
I was pretty skeptical when I saw dude was elected. I should have known better!
What’s in it ??
Nothing. Nonbinding language tacked on a real bill at the last minute meant to “gotchya” democratic senators into voting for something propolice. Cory Booker was being facetious in case no one caught on.
Dude’s a bottom feeder. Scum.
The best part: “He allowed his emotions to get the best of him,” Pollard added, speaking about the former peace activist who was seen striking and throwing a small-framed homeless man.
Jesus. What a week minded p.o.s. Like most “activists”… A useless human that finds some laughable meaning in their delusional garbage.
These Republicans could give two shits about the capital police. They will back the blue over something like the George Floyd thing, but at the capital it’s a bunch of far left whatevers committing murder.
Democrats and Republicans alike will be pro anything (cop, teacher, veteran, etc) as long as it seems like a good story for them. But they will be against it the moment it isn’t. This story should be evidence of that.
These so called activist community police forces will basically be no better than gangs. The question is who is held account? If a cop beats someone, the department/city can be sued. Who does this homeless guy sue? Does this pseudo police force have insurance? Does the store that used them get sued? What kind of vetting do they do? I can see an attorney licking his lips right now.
He sues either the store or the city. The article says both hire that organization as security.
That’s how it turned out in South Africa
Granted the police force over there is also corrupt… Because it’s South Africa, the place is lawless. Have you been there? Its not safe at all anymore… If you want protection you need to hire private security.
I happen to indirectly know a family that was on a safari there. They were attacked on said safari, their daughter was gang raped… This is common in SA.
Just about every family member of mine who has grown up there has been held at gun point at least once
Vigilante justice, neighbourhood watch groups took it into their own hands to police provinces because police weren’t effective in SA. Eventually they started acting as judge, jury and executioner. Innocent people, anyone they didn’t like etc fell into the mix.
This is something I don’t get. If the city will be held accountable then they don’t make sure the activists have been vetted and trained properly? The same with a private business. I would assume a legit security company would have insurance or something because it would be held accountable for the actions of its employees.
2 thing to make cops drastically less needed:
-
legalize ALL drugs, from MDMA to the nastiest, black-tar heroin. no black market = no gangs = A LOT less violence.
-
constitutional carry: carry a firearm anywhere, no permits, licenses, or anything.
Do those two things and you reduce the need for cops by at least 80%.
Constitutional carry kicks in here in Texas on September 1. Curious to see the effect it has on things.
You would increase the need in those two cases.
Who is going to supply these drugs? How are addicts going to fund their addictions?
So you’ll have dealers openly selling and addicts openly buying but still have gangs fighting over who sells what where. You’ll still have addicts committing crimes to fund their addictions.
Oh yeah, and they will all be able to carry guns legally on top of it.
If you think ordinary citizens carrying will somehow counter that, then you really haven’t thought it through.
Contrary to what many believe, your dicks won’t get bigger.
Well that’s a blessing.
For the sheep.
