This is why, as a right-winger, I now lean anti-cop. And I think it’s inevitable that more and more of the right are going to follow suit.
It’s getting to the point where it feels like we don’t need you. You aren’t going to protect us; you don’t even protect each other anymore for God’s sakes.
I understand your position. You have a family; you need your pension; etc., and you are hogtied by leftist politicians. I get it. But at some point you all need to get united and start standing up for yourselves, at the very least.
Organize, strike, refuse to arrest each other… Stand united. I know it sounds crazy, but even prosecutors can’t touch you if you stand together. There are far more of you than there are of them.
And once that becomes the norm, the rioters and anarchists and instigators will lose their nerve. You’ll be golden. And then decent people can feel safe again.

I see a disconnect in ‘demanding’ LEO community stand against crime and the tyranny of woke politicians alone, while the Right sits with our collective thumb up our ass - waiting on LEO to fix it. Why should only they have skin in the game?
I will go as far as saying, police success is dependent on the majority of society abiding the rules. We choose them to proxy for our security against a tiny minority.
And while l take 100% responsibility for my own safety, l sure don’t want to see the rise of vigilante or armed factions, just to try to carry on everyday life.

I doubt they would work in any town that abolished the cops. The abolish the police idiots don’t realize just how many things we depend on, depend upon the existence of cops. Cops do more than just, as they claim, kill mentally ill black people. They think some glorified mall cops with sociology degrees are going to maintain law and order.
