She said my test levels were fine and that any higher and we could have agression problems like “that pro wrestler” and left with a script for prozac.
Top of her field huh…WTF

My wife dosen’t think I am a nut for stocking up on test anymore…I don’t know what else to do other than self treating and getting bloodwork thru my pcp.

But… but… your levels were out of range, in the gutter. How could she justify her response?
HOW THE FUCK COULD SHE JUSTIFY HER RESPONSE? arrrrrrgh!!![/quote]
Don’t know…
This doctor ended up being worth the wait. I just sat and listened to him and decided on 100mg test a week as well as a script for adex and hcg…his whole rant sounded exactly like what KS has put on the boards. He believes in therapy that consists of hcg test and adex. He actually knew of the doc that sent me out the door with a prozac script, he just smiled and didn’t say anything else.
All in all it was a good appointment, the guy sounds like he knows what he is talking about. He aparently just completed a study about using adex on men and will let me see it on my next visit.
Time to go fill my script’s now.
Adex study:
Is that an adex monotherapy or for those on TRT?
I think that the study should be more about the effects of controlling estrogen in males with aromatase inhibitors, Anastrozole been the best. However, there is a fair amount of material about that already.
Might be some good dose/response data. I am curious to see if he addresses the issue of adex over-responders. Also looking to see what he suggests for E2 target levels.
He didn’t have time to go into detail but I will ask him all of this next time. I am still kind of in shock…I was prepared to argue my case and then go home and start my own therapy after this doctor sucked. I have a note book I am writing everything down in and I have a list of questions to ask at the back of it, I will recheck your post and write some questions down for him.
Damn the snoring started after my first shot last night.
Both…I was banished to the spare bedroom at about 4am.
GOOD! I guess I have never been on trt for more than a few months before one doctor or another pulls me off, so I have not yet experienced getting leveled out.
Does snoring have anthing to do with osteoarthritis? Please do not blog here.
Snoring:

I had forgot about even posting in those threads. My cpap machine is not helping, the snoring seems to be my turbinates swelling rather than any excess water retention or fat…I was off my machine for 3 months while I was off of injections.
Who knows, I would love to figure it out though.
I thought I would add my new doctor wants me on 1mg of adex a day. He said that’s high but he thinks I have E2 problems and would rather dose to high for a while, I also only get about 3 to 4 days out of a shot and that’s also why my test dose is so high, hee wants 100mg on monday and thursday for a month and then he will cut back on that when we get my next set of bloodwork and add in hcg.
After 3 days on the first shot things are pretty tight already…I might push to add in HCG much sooner.

‘Turbinates swelling’. A good insight. I have a couple of suggestions that you might ponder.
Firstly, some users experience a ‘test flu’ reaction to injections. This should wear off within a few days and is merely a minor reaction to the presence of co-solvents used to dissolve the hormone in oil.
Secondly, the turbinates are covered by erectile tissue, called ‘meatus’. These can be affected by any drug that causes erection, such as viagra, cialis, etc. I’m thinking that if you have been experiencing any more frequent erections any where else
(due to improved hormone levels)then this might have a carryover to other erectile tissue.
My money would be on the first possible scenario, however it is by no means a definite ‘diagnosis’.

If I don’t snore so much tonight it might confirm your first theory, the second one might as well, I might even have to stop the paperwork declairing my wang legally dead…
Another question, the bottle of test I am using is about a year old. The constant taking me on and off of test has stretched this bottle pretty far, I am sure it does become less potent. Since my last doc perscribed it wrong I do have 5 new bottles, maybe I will just stop hoarding and crack open a new one.
Thanks for the insight on the turbinates by the way, I have had them reduced once already and have been considering having a resection done to reduce them further
