One of the copters was damaged during the raid. Whether or not it was shot at is still being investigated. Earlier this morning on NPR, it was reported that the pilot snagged a blade on the stone wall surrounding the mansion as they were landing. The seals destroyed the helicopter to render it useless. Should have comissioned a Vietnam veteran chopper pilot for the mission. Those guys could land in Osama’s bedroom without snagging the tail rotor.

Wow interesting.
I really thought Osama had been dead for a while and Obama strategically chose to release it now in hopes to increase his chances of being re-elected in 2012.
-Your balls will still be gripped up in all airports.
-Gas prices will continue to rise.
-Trillions of dollars wasted and continue to be wasted.
-Countless soldiers and civilians dead.
Total win for the USA, br0’z.
If anything, it is a bit of relief for people who lost friends and family in the towers.
That is all.
This dude hasn’t been relevant for a decade.
Now back to reality TV.
Pretty interesting article people need to read as to why Osama was buried at sea.
U.S Military deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan- about 7200.
Civilian deaths in 9/11- about 2750.
Just something to think about.

Don’t forget it took almost 10 years and cost the country roughly $1,200,000,000,000.

Dulce et decorum est, pro patria mori.
You were saying?
In other words, if someone wants to sacrifice his life for the greater good of the fatherland, excuse me, homeland, it is not as if we had lost the father of cold fusion here.
Stupid is as stupid does, and good riddance.
I heard through the radio briefly, that Osama used a woman as a human shield… is this true (in the sense of have any of you others heard this too) ?

Yep, it’s popping up in news articles:

Yes.
I am surprised he didn’t use two.
If it is true, which I’d be hesitant to believe, it shouldn’t be surprising to anyone since women aren’t valued in the same way as they are in the west.
He had multiple wives.
Plus, the media will use anything at this point to make this “enemy of western freedoms” look like as cowardly as possible to further promote the war on terror and the “tremendous victory” that they supposedly just had.
An even bigger chicken shit coward than I already thought.

Not sure if this was posted yet, the FBI updates it’s 10 Most Wanted List…
Not sure if this has already been posted, not going to go through 11 pages to check, but Mark Twain once wrote; “I’ve never wished a man dead, but I have read some obituaries with great pleasure.”
That being said, I was very surprised at all the news this has been generating.
I seriously thought that it was widely accepted as fact that he had died sometime around or before 2002…

We will never really know for sure.
He might have been dead since then.
But since they claim they buried him at sea and all anyone has to go on is the media’s word and a shitty picture of some brown dude with a beard and a hole in his head…all I can say is that it’s up to everyone to believe what they want.
That Twitter thing was hilarious. Just minding his own business “gee, i hope nothing’s really going on”…Thank goodness no one in OBL’s compound is/was on Twitter!!!

Anyone see this “mistake” ?

LOL…that’s kind of like Rush Limbaugh saying “Thank God for President Obama” and people taking him seriously. If you listen to his complete comments you know he’s being sarcastic.

Did you just pop in here a page ago without reading anything on the thread? The picture circulating is something that was randomly photoshopped and tossed online, the government didn’t release it as ‘evidence.’(Now here’s the part where you say that’s even worse, we don’t even have fake evidence!).
I’m not sure where it was widely accepted that he’s been dead since 02, widely accepted = extremely small % of population known as conspiracy theorists? Unless you think he was a prophet that released videos showing his sickness and aging process along with knowledge of fairly current events of the war that he was apparently dead for. The ‘widely accepted’ part is that he was hiding in Pakistan(shocker, that’s where we found him), and unless you are the ultimate cynic the government had been working on a 6 month old lead to find this mansion that they raided a couple days ago.
Some of the posts in here are unbelievable. The president could come out tomorrow and say, “Alien life has been encountered; I am in the process of gathering world leaders to speak with the Galactic Empire of Sentient Beings in the Oval Office right now” and you would believe that with no proof. But we have live civilian journalism corroborating the raid on a fucking mansion in the middle of public government facilities(a hospital, a school, a park, etc) with 18 foot walls around it, no phone or internet, and soldiers saying they have identified the body via facial recognition software and a 99% positive DNA test result to his sister; but that’s not enough. You need a continuous shot video with no sign of alteration from the start of the raid til the completion of the DNA test, along with 3 forms of ID on Osama’s person, and multiple family members confirming his likeness.
Oh and I’ve already posted like 3 times in this thread that Osama is a much bigger deal than you are aware because you apparently choose to fly off to speak about a topic you know nothing about.
Now I remember why I avoid the PWI forum =/
