How some of you people that posted on this thread have survived as long as you have amazes me.
Proves Darwin wrong though I’ll tell you that.
Jesus always has your back in a fight.

Reminds me of a funny story our Priest told after Hurricane Katrina:
A poor woman was sitting on her porch in New Orleans as Katrina was approaching. Some neighbors, who were evacuating, stopped in front of her house in their car and asked if she wanted to leave with them. She kindly thanked them and said, “I’m waiting for the Good Lord to save me.”
Later that day, Katrina hit with a force and it wasn’t long before the floodwaters came to her house. She was out on her porch again when a rescue team approached in a motorboat. They called out to her asking if she wanted to come aboard and ride off to safety. She replied with, “No thanks, the Good Lord will save me.”
Sure enough, the next day, the floodwaters had risen to the point where the woman had to go to her roof. As she sat there, an Army helicopter appeared and hovered over her house. They dropped a harness down and told her to get in and they’d pull her up to safety. Once again, she waived them off and yelled, “The Good Lord will save me.” With many others to rescue, the helicopter moved on.
Later that night, the floodwaters washed away her house, and the old woman drowned.
As she stood in front of God in heaven, she was indignant and said, “Lord, I prayed and waited for you to save me. Why didn’t you answer my prayers?”
God looked down at her and replied, “What is wrong with you woman? I sent you an escape car, a motorboat and a rescue helicopter and you refused them all.”
The point is, if Jesus has his back in this scenario, he’s probably back there trying to get him to take a different route.
