What are the best online poker sites for freeroll tournaments? I’ve played Titan poker, and I only get to play one freeroll a week. pokerstars has way more, but they are often quite lame. Does anyone know any sites that have have great freerolls? If so, do you need to sign up through any specific affiliates?
No idea but we should start a t-poker page. I play pokerstars, infact im playing now if anyone wants to play with me
I also play pokerstars.I also played on fulltilt but transering money in has been getting to be hassle, so I stick to pokerstars where the competiton is quite lame.
Alek, why not play with real money?
Wanna play seraphim?

Can U.S. Players still play the real money tables at pokerstars?
Yes but you need to us a method other than credit card. The cash transer is best.

Freerolls are for real money, but there is no buy-in. They are great practice for bigger tournaments, and are often satellites for better tourneys.
I just started playing again after about a year off. I won’t be playing ring games any more, because I suck ass at them. What’s worse, getting better at ring games made me worse at tournaments, so I’ve decided to just stick with the latter.
I think it will be fun to build a bankroll entirely off of freerolls, so any recommendations for sites with good (and more importantly, frequent) freerolls would be awesome. I already play at Titan and pokerstars.
The freerolls on Titan all seem to be restricted to people that signed on with particular affiliates; I signed on with 4kingspoker, and I only get one freeroll a week (sunday private freeroll). Pokerstars has a lot of freerolls, but they mostly seem to be satellites to Omaha hi-low games, and I only play nl hold’em.
To the Canadian players on pokerstars, take a look at the weekend with daniel freeroll. Looks like a good bit of fun; top 100 in each round 1 tourney move on to round two.
Top 100 from round two move to the final, for pretty decent prizes. The final is 10,000 max, with prizes from $50 starting at 600 to $2000 plus a $17,000 3-day trip to Vegas.
I very much doubt I’ll make it to the finals, but it’ll be fun, for sure.

Chris Ferguson did this a couple years ago. He built a $10000 bankroll by starting with nothing and playing only freerolls.
Personally, I would make $20-50 deposit and build with that. That way you can’t at least start at the $1 tables and don’t have to spend weeks, or more likely months, on the freerolls hoping to make the money. Freerolls can be tough to play.
Good luck to you.

is this tournament still open?
right now!
That is, registration has JUST opened, play starts in 1 hour.
If you miss tonight, there will be plenty of other first round tourneys, although you should note that you can only play in 1.
hmmm
Just looked into it more; there’s a game tonight, tomorrow, and friday. After that start rounds 2 and 3.

I think there’s a good chance that playing lots of free rolls will make you a worse player as well given that so many people play them like they’re, well, free.
