One Plate, Two Plate, Three Plate, Four!

Nice press! My best is 149… You’re kicking ass!

Thanks! You could see the vid? I didnt know for sure if its working.

Shoulders are really touchy today, I felt it last push day too. Had no power in the tank for todays workout and feel super emotional or something. I am wondering if a deload is in need. Not really working with any sort of a deficit anyways. Its crazy how fast you can feel like crap.

Here is what I got out of today.

Warm up~
Bench
8x130
5x130

Incline Bench
8x45’s
5x45’s
6x40’s

OHP
10x25’s
12x20’s

Then I left :frowning:

I think my decision not to do a show is really bothering me (among other things) and because I am just flopping around not giving full effort in diet, some days caring and others not, the lack of progress is making me feel even worse.

I need to make some solid decisions so that I am not sitting on the line.

Shoulders should be touchy. It was just yesterday you hit “another” PR!! Geesh!!

Sorry you are struggling with the decision not to do the show. The diet thing is a whole other entity.
Its such a mind game because you want enough fuel to still progress, but trimming off some fat actually “shows”
your hard work. As youve said yourself…, its the weekends killing you. Try to just scale back, still enjoy something but make it just more of a carb load without all the fat etc. A freakin huge pancake stack sounds sooo
good to me.

As far as the beer convo…my favorite seasonal beer is out right now, its killing me!

This this this!!!^
You just set a big PR OHPing 15 pounds more than you way. You’re going to be sapped for a few days.

My favorite drink is a Jack n Coke. Never out of season!

Here are some front progress pics…the suit doesnt fit and looks kinda goofy but it will be a good indicator for change.

Upper body hasnt changed much but you can see a diff in my quads.

.

Coyotegal your progress is amazing!!! Way to go and keep up the great work! Beautiful back!!!

I don’t have input regarding diet/show, but I wanted you to know that I’m following. Your strength is nothing short of awesome!

Thanks Chelsey!

Snap~ thanks for the strength compliment. Means alot to hear that from you!

You’re like my current idol, ya know? I wanna lift like you…

I am going to semi try to mimic your routine, FYI.

Looking great!

If your husband is deserving of something special, I highly recommend cooking some sort of meat while wearing the suit. Highly.

spock~ thanks chicka your pretty kick ass yourself! The program initially was designed to help bring up delts, hams, and glutes (if you wanted to start from the beginning)…right now its supposed to be used while leaning out so the volume is lower to account for cardio that would come into play. Since I cant seem to wrap my head around cutting I am going to up the volume and perhaps get a little recomp going :D… Have fun!

I was pleasantly surprised with the strength I gained with it as well.

Git, lol thats weird!

OooOoOH, that is interesting, how much cardio were you planning on doing? Like a daily thing? I have only been doing like 15-25 minutes a day depending on how long i lift for. I usually let the weight lifting linger on forever cause i am not really used to the whole cardio thing, ha.

as little cardio as possible. To start 2 20 min interval sessions per week on the week that legs weights was done 2x and 1 sprint session on the weeks that there was only 1 leg day. Add a few LISS sessions in here and there. (think walk the dog)
Diet should get you there the most. Only increase cardio when really needed.

Not weird at all.

HMM OKAY !

More questions:

Do you just wear regular runners and what not when you squat/dead?
Do you ever use a belt or knee sleeves or any of that fancy stuff?

K THANKS!

I wear reg. runners (my minimals were stolen :frowning: ) when squatting/deading at the gym and barefoot when at home. Took awhile to get used to shoes but I dont feel a difference anymore.

No belts or any other such thing.

Tho some day I would like to try a belt and see where I can get my deads too…

I remember having to use a belt for when my coach was testing us on our maxes for squats (quarter squats because as a shot putter, that’s how far our knees would bend, apparently). The belt helped support a 425lb squat for one rep, but it’s super uncomfortable.

And I love lifting in minimalist shoes, such a pity yours were stolen :frowning:
