I was going to post something about quick about suits, but I guess I’m a little late.

That one is really pretty! Its already on its way?! Most suit designers are good about estimating the sizing, but ordering is still something that most people recommend doing about 12 weeks out (a little more or less depending on your designer and how blingy the suit is). Your body does change A TON, but you should be fine.

That said, I ordered mine pretty far in advanced and it worked out fine. I don’t have boobs to begin with so the top sizing was a sure bet, and picked the bottom size based on the designer’s size chart. I was at the very top end on one size and knew my hips wouldn’t come down enough to get into the next smallest. The one thing that surprised me was how much the fit of the straps seemed to change as I dieted down. Luckily those are adjustable so that’s not much of an issue.

For anyone looking to cut suit costs, many designers do blank suits and you can bling them yourself if you’re crafty (I did that and saved a ton of $$), and some, like Tammee Marie (whose suits are absolutely incredible), will rent them. I think its diva exchange that also rents/sells used ones.

I know it is early and I was planning on waiting until about 10 weeks out but I was looking at sites and was not overly impressed with the suits that I would be able to afford. Most of them had chain or something on the hips instead of the way these bottoms are and I didnt think they looked as nice. I saw this one and jumped on it as I really like it :slight_smile:

I was able to pick this one up on Divaexchange…it was made for someone who backed out. The straps dont have the clasps sewn on or anything so they will be very adjustable.
I am also getting inserts for the top…

Haha! That would have been some nasty tan :smiley:

I hope I am growing!It is such a slow process. grr. Everyday I look in the mirror and hope my shoulders have grown :slight_smile: I have time for it to happen, just gotta keep working hard!

I am worried I am not doing these rights as when I start to fatigue I am feeling it under my shoulder blades. I am going to have to read up a bit more on these…maybe the width of my grip is off. I am bent right over tho as I know that you need to do that in order to hit the rear delts.

Was a good weekend. I felt like a fat ass today but the gym scale was 139.6 so thats the same as last time. I am going to start weighing in there as that scale is more precise with changes ( I hope) and mine is just one of those ones that has the stick that points to where you are. It weighs me in heavier but I will be able to track change better.

I am loving my arms these days but I am noticing that my bi’s are only getting bigger on the inside…going to have to find some movements that hit the outside.

oh and I wanted to add that my scale weighs me in at 135 and the gym one was 139.2 (4ish pound diff between the 2)
So that means I have been consistently hanging around 135 which is a 5 pound increase since the get go.

Scale today was a whopping 142 :smiley: can we say fat ass?? Anyways, pretty sure its water from all the treats and dips and crap the last few days. Going to tighten up the diet, count cals more, and flush out with water. Need to be careful not to get too carried away here :smiley:
