“Please, put your fat finger down!”
“I’m Lars. I’m your new friend, and counselor!”
“I’m doggin’ it Pat, I’m doggin it!”
“I did not send you to ‘Go-Kart Camp’”
i can’t believe only one person said shawshank redemption…
imma go with iron dwarf and say shawshank redemption… a close second would be man on fire…
another good one is escape from alcatraz with clint eastwood… before tbs showed reruns of popular shows (family guy, the mexican guy’s sitcom…) they used to replay these two movies all the time… needless to say i’ve seen shawshank redemption about 10+ times and escape from alcatraz at least 7+ times… still not bored of it
Sorry Nards, but I’m joining the small minority here who thinks Star Wars (all of them) sucked.
As I mentioned before, it’s sci-fi lite. It’s like fuckin’ Disney without great animation or bright colors. Speilberg can barely make a fictional movie with any emotional weight, yet Star Wars tries to have you believe otherwise. I couldn’t identify with any of the lame-ass characters, and felt nothing in the gravity of their situation.
Someone mentioned that Star Wars started a template for the genre. But it better serves as an example of whet NOT to mimic when making a great sci-fi film.
Back To The Future was MUCH better and WAY more believable, engrossing… because we really identified with Marty.
speaking of back to the future… im so glad they used michael j fox… the other actor seemed too srs for the role… michael j fox did a really good job portraying a hs kid that got blasted back in time…

I agree.
Though Stoltz is a fantastic actor, the part seemed to be made for Fox.
