Once You're On Steroids???

once your on them it takes over your bodies natural abilty to build muscle, if i once took them and quit for a good while and decided to never do them again, is it possible to lose the weight and gain muscle ever again naturally?

hahah after one cycle your body wont even function anymore, a lot of people just die right after they stop, so if your gonna do it just dont ever stop taking them

Thats right, I was a day late on an injection once and it landed me in the hospital for 9 months. I had to have a kidney and liver transplant, twice.

That reminds me of that show than was on a while ago-the man who’s arms exploded, or something like that. Anyway, there was a guy on there trying to say that using steroids once can effect the rest of your life because they stay in your body forever. Of course he didn’t mention that it would be a tiny little bitty minuscule amount.

Oh, man… I just shat myself.

Obviously been listening to the agenda driven Steve Michalik’s comments from "The man whose arms exploded" shown on TLC, who actually claimed this kind of stuff will happen, even if you only do it one time…Steve is the go to guy if you want exploitation/hype on bodybuilding and roids’, since being a former champ provides alleged credibility…

Do some reading before you spout off uneducated questions.

You’ll end up appearing foolish and will be mocked accordingly.

since everyone else has laid into you, deservedly so, but an answer perhaps. i have used steroids and find that there is no difference when off and trying to lose weight or gain, although if you are beyond your natural capability, then you can expect zero gains without.

if anything i am able to get better gains/losses when off as i now am better at all the other things like diet and recovery methods which really are the important factors, not to mention my exercise prescription abilities have improved markedly.

one of the frequent and very well respected members recently posted on how he takes a little sauce in short cycles to maintain an extremely high body mass now that he is done with high doses for extended periods, so like all else it points to your fears being unfounded.

You will lose most of the mass gains you made once you quit, but it can maybe hold on to some strength. With that, it can help you get over a rut.

What I like to do is do a light cycle, and then train naturally until I’ve regained the weight I lost after the cycle. It is easier to regain the lost muscle, than to add “fresh” muscle, in my experience.

The only reason gains would be harder to make is if your test levels were permanetly lower after the steroid cycle you did. That just depends on what compounds and PCT you used. Try and stay low on the doses, because I find guys that are using high doses and long cycles usually are permanetly shut down.
