On TRT, Up the Dose or Add 6 Weeks Tbol?

@grinnin

My TRT protocol is Test Cyp at 70mg Sunday and 70mg Weds IM. No ancillaries. This is what works best for me. I’ve tried half a dozen different protocols including AIs and HCG but never felt right. On straight test My TT is top lab ranges and FT is mid upper due to higher SHBG. E2 stays mid range on this protocol for me.

I ran tbol at 50mg per day for 6 weeks on a test / eq cycle. I used it on the front side. No bad sides and only lean nice gains 5-6lbs. Unfortunately I got colitis after this cycle and lost a bunch of weight. Hard for me to say it anything would have stuck.

I remember reading somewhere on your experience with DBol, if I remember correctly you used 10mg Nolva per day and no AI while taking Dbol but dropped Nolva after the 4 week mark? Seems a lot of people panick with Dbol (run high AI dose and Nolva together).

What was your experience when comparing Dbol to Tbol? Aside from the difference in Estrogenic effects.

Note: I do not plan on running Dbol until at least a few solid cycles a couple years down the line.

Maybe like this
1st cycle: Test only
2nd cycle: Tbol + Test
3rd cycle: Dbol 20mg daily 4 week kickstart + Test

I’ve used dbol twice and it was far more noticeable regarding increases in size and strength. However it was a more bloated look and results quickly left after ceasing use. Dbol also gave me strong mental “feel good” effects.

I’ve never had too many high estrogen related symptoms from cycling. Last cycle I used Nolva with the dbol correct. These are just my personal anecdotes not to be taken at anymore than such.

You could learn all of this by googling “tbol steroid profile”. Not taking away from @unreal24278 here, just stating this info is readily available.

People who use AAS should have this type of knowledge before using IMO. Unreal’s knowledge is higher than most, but one should strive to keep learning.

@mnben87

As you can see my questions were geared towards personal experience something that a forum provides over google. It was just a nice addition Unreal provided me with the pharmacology of Tbol. Was there a point to your post?

I am implying you should Google “tbol steroid profile” before you use it. I understood (and basically knew the content) unreal’s post, because I have looked at it’s profile. You can have close to that level of knowledge in 10 minutes (just on tbol, not unreal’s level of AAS knowledge). I’m pointing you to a learning experience.

The forum is good, but it is not your only source of info, and shouldn’t be.

I can ensure you I would read up (and have been reading) about various compounds before even considering using said compound. I mainly use this forum in pursuit of personal experiences and the differences in individual responses to compounds, dosages, etc… I appreciate the comment though.

I am here to help. So is unreal. Here is a really good site for expanding your knowledge on tbol.

Personal experience is really important to. I don’t have it in regards to tbol.

As far as understanding the available research, unreal is one of the strongest members here. Please don’t take my post as me putting him down.

Yup… just buy a copy of william Llewelyn’s anabolics. It’s not overtly complicated and will give the average joe a decent understanding regarding what he’s putting into his body

Problem is it doesn’t entirely gloss over the potential cardiovascular effects of AAS regarding cardiac morphology. If the book had a detailed subsection on arrhythmia/cardiomyopathy it’d be perfect

Could also go into greater detail regarding neurological dysregulation and hormonal balance

I don’t like steroid .com or steroidal either as I feel both tend to heavily downplay the effects of AAS, nor do they go into the potential for long term ailment

I agree with that assessment. It doesn’t mean that info isn’t available on them. Stuff like chemistry (was a carbon atom added to stop atomization), anabolic to androgenic ratios, history of the drug, and it’s medical uses seem to be pretty reliable.

For liver, kidney and heart issues it is probably not the best. Also, stuff like dosing is pretty useless.

It is a good supplement to other sources if you understand it’s weaknesses.

For the info you posted above (in regards to chemistry), one could learn that through those sites. I’ll check it that book you recommend.

@mnben87 @unreal24278

I value both of your comments/contributions to this thread. I agree personal research is very important in terms of having an understanding of how various compounds work and what the potential outcomes can be when using these compounds. It pains me to read threads where young guys start taking compounds and have no clue what they are doing. Lol if only they had researched the drug profile, typical outcomes, things to monitor on cycle, proper pct, etc…

This forum by large is a great place for individual experiences but I can agree it should coincide with ones own research.

My calories were 200-500 higher on DBol. The only difference was some dirty carbs added at certain times of day.
