Bleh, I stand corrected. It still doesn’t change the fact that you have to be a big donkey to call people out on their goals.

Lol… nice try tho.
I’m gonna be president of the USA, fly to space and enslave all the universe.
It’s a goal, so it’s ok. Right?
Mark Henry did something like this, but he was already one of the strongest human beings to ever walk the planet at that point, I think.

I stood corrected on Marilou, not making the olympics in 4 years. If it’s never been seen yet in weightlifting, it will end up happening. And this guy has as good a chance as anyone.
As for your “goals” they’re not goals because you don’t participate in any of that shit. Is it not okay for a young ambitious American politician to gun for Presidency? The guy studying in Aerowhatever, can’t he believe in his chance of going to space? Enslaving the universe… Shit that’s MY goal!
And besides, even if making the olympics in 4 years in weightlifting was entirely imposible (which it isn’t), it’s stupid to shoot someone down for actually trying it. Aim for the stars they say…
You go PC on people all the time for saying anything negative about a strength sport or internet famed lifter, you should understand this shit.

To everyone saying I can’t do it, remember it’s just a goal I’ve set myself to make me work harder.
whether I do it or not doesn’t matter to me, but the fact of the matter is if I go into training thinking that I’m working towards the olympics I’m gonna perform alot better than if I go in thinking “lets learn clean n jerk and snatch that’ll be fun”.
So… from what everyones saying crystal palace is the place for me to go to learn. Is Keith Morgan the best person to ask for? or is he a bit high up for a newbie to go and talk to? [/quote]
As I said before talk to Keith Morgan; I don’t think there is anyone else coaching oly lifting at Crystal Palace.
