What hotel are you staying at? There’s a Crowne Plaza near the airport where they hold the Monster Bench Press each April. It’s push-pull, bench & DL, lots and lots of people. Definitely worth checking out.
I’ll be in Williamsport, PA at the Holiday Inn on Pine. Fracking on the Marcellus Shale. Well, actually, wrenching on the fracking equipment. My only Pittsburgh stays will be the night I fly in & the night before I fly out. Fly in, stay at the Crowne or Holiday Inn for the night, then bus 4-5 hours up to Williamsport, work a couple weeks, bus back to Pitt for the night, fly back out to STL the next morning, max and relax at the house with momma and the puppies for a week, fly back to Pitt to repeat. Once I get used to it, I think it’ll be a good schedule. Planning on doing it for about 3-5 years, then hopefully business ownership here in STL.

At this point I’m not really convinced the weight is lost so much as temporarily misplaced. I’ll become a believer when I see it under 290 consistently, but thanks. Fartlek Elliptical 21 min started at 90 slow and 105 fast (strides/min), ended at 120 slow and 135 fast. Each slow cycle was 3 minutes, fast cycles were 1.5 minutes.
Felt great tonight, everything felt strong. Gotta get ta bed, early morning learning the oilfields!
How are you handling the deadlift? 95 lbs gets it close to the floor, once you get to 135 and higher, the bar is higher and goes a bit easier.
Newbie here…Oy vey…traveling…when I went to the Philippines, I had to improvise by using my mother-in-law’s water bottles and even gas can to do squats, overhead presses, and back rows. If the desire and will is there, innovation will come.
