I have been awfully busy eating and sleeping lately, and still I lose weight, apparently my previous diets (cardio, reduced calories) should have been replaced with egg nog and 2 naps a day.

You bench looks great. I am happy to squeeze out 365x1. I have to include deads in that as well.

As for the screw/bolt showing. Maybe most the the weight you lost was from the knees down :slight_smile:

My doctor doesn’t share your enthusiasm for my diet, but all I need is one person to validate my bad choices, so thank you.
As for being lighter than you I am sure it is a temporary condition, I probably did cardio a month ago and my body is just responding to it now, I will be 320 again in February.

I have been terrible about training for the past 2 weeks so I am attempting to rededicate myself today, because it is Monday and I have nothing else going on plus on the 15th I am supposed to get crushed at a meet.

Workout felt great, weighed 289 (knew that would happen) and was relatively pleased with the outcome overall. I need to find a way to get my chest stronger, after looking at my CG bench I realize that there isn’t much of a difference between my CG and “competition” style, I figure maybe 80 lbs tops, any ideas would be appreciated.

Good work in here. I can’t help you with the bench, but I can help validate shitty diet choices. I’m a big fan of ice cream and most foods loaded with simple sugars.

I am just amazed at the amount of weight being thrown around here.

I am 5’11" (and a half), my wife says that with my short arms and legs, long torso and big head I remind her of an XL oompa loompa, I think she means it in a nice way.

Strong lifts man. Coming from fellow fat man you gotta love looseing weight when you are not trying.

Had some injury and health issues, wasted a month of my life and had to drrraaaaagggg myself to the gym today, I realized that I was happiest and strongest when I just went to the gym and lifted with an eye towards doing something or anything better than the last time out so I decided to write my workout down AFTER I did it instead of planning it out before:

Mon 1/31/11

Barbell Complex x8 x6 reps 4 minute break (bar doesn’t hit the floor until complex is done)
135lbs- BBell Row-Hang Clean-Front Squat-Military Press-Back Squat-Good Mornings
First set was hard 2nd was a nightmare

Bench Press- W/ups- 350x5 (paused) 360x5 (paused) 370x5 (paused) 225x20

Dips 15,15

Hammer DBell Curls- 60’sx8 70’sx8 75’sx6

Felt nice to be bac,k in the gym, all of my nagging injuries (chest, elbow, neck etc) seemed to be under control, my nearly 4 week battle with Bronchitis and 2 sinus infections is over and my weight is back to a nice meaty 306. All in all it felt nice to be back, in the gym.

Glad you are back and healthy as well.

I did the complexes again, added 1 set of 4 and dropped the wight by 20 lbs, it really warmed me up and got the heart rate going (although in all honesty walking up 5-6 stairs gets my heart rate up at the moment).

DBell Step-Ups-50’s x 20x16
Walking DBell Lunges- 50’s x 3 minutes x2 (No idea how many steps, just lunged around the gym for 3 minutes at a clip, it was harder than it sounds)
Burpees- 20,20
