Well thanks but i don’t really think i work harder than any one else on here. This place is full of determined people. I think my knee issue is coming from a kinetic chain dysfunction? I did a seated ham stretch today but put both feet against wall so foot couldn’t supinate or evert and really felt it in hip of side that is bothering me. I am learning something everyday.
First we get a 12 to 16 week cycle for going 9 for 9

Hang v-sit (knee bent) windshield wipers (10-2) 4x10E
Don’t think I didn’t notice “standing” ab wheel on incline
Your a beast!
Just trying to catch up on some threads. Really great lifting. Specially like the “quick” training and sprints. Hardest thing to keep as we age is the explosiveness. And I so wanted to tell the young bull/old bull story after reading the prowler incident.
Thank you Up.
Hel is that the one with the heifers up on the hill??? lmao
Kev i checked with my boys from Compton and Chi town and they said “##### your a M##### F###### big time baller” hmmmm.

FWIW Kev, I don’t mind. You can even close your eyes ![]()
Hey German! Standing ab wheel is legit! Nice work.
I don’t train my abs for reasons of vanity - do you think if I did it would make big difference in my lifts? I personally don’t think so because i think the abs train indirectly with all the other stuff I do, but every once in a while I think “meh, I could really work on keeping the core tighter” thoughts?

Hey Maschy,
Yes i definetly believe in training abs seperately! They do get good work in with the major lifts but extra on their own is good too.
Legs today
Knee/hip feeling better maybe squat next week? But i need to be careful i can be a big dummy sometimes. I get anxious to get back and i do some really dumb things, really really dumb things. So patience and self control is the key for me to get through this and back on track. Just need to keep it in perspective and think long term versus immediate future. Funny how training can be like life sometimes.

Finding the messed up link in the kinetic chain is damn tricky; very interested in your ongoing process.
Do you notice any difference in using KB vs. DB for the goblet squat? (splitting hairs I know, but only because I know you’d be in tune enough to know the difference if any)
Such an analytic you are with your approach to fixing the imbalance.
Now. About your avi. It sort of looks like a pic that should accompany the phrase: “Help. I’ve fallen and can’t get up.”
I’m being a smart ass.
PG this was my first time doing the SL stuff this way, i normally use a bar and have occasionally used db’s at the sides. I did like the goblet style(i am guessing that is the right term) did keep my shoulders back more, better posture if you will? I’ll see if i notice anything else?
You are about right snap, that was after squat at raw nats. Guy next to me was also a master lifter. We laughed our butts off over that pic. We have been competing against/with each other since mid 80’s and we were like…we are those old guys we used to laugh at when we were young…had to be there.
