Old School Log

yeah, I think the main benefit of Crack3d is the energy boost + aminos and creatine monohydrate. They tout other benefits, but blah…

Also forgot to add that I have been using waxy maize in my post workout shake on heavy days. Used to be I used a powerade or juice, the waxy maize works out cheaper and more convenient, and tastes palatable.

German, your benching is looking solid. Look forward to seeing what you do when you really start lifting (i.e. geared).

Thanks Pete,
Yea will be fun…been a long time since i’ve had any gear on though. Planning on starting some gear in September, so we’ll see how it goes.

Germanone- Great numbers all around as I paged through your log. Super Impressed when I found out you are a fellow sub 200lber! Great stuff, enjoyed reading!!

Thanks Oldgoat…imma a wopping 195 this am…kinda like it though.

Dead day

Little rotator cuff/lat tie in strain on rack pulls, felt a little burn, sore as shit right now. Should be fine with a few days rest.

Deads of 5"
After warm-up
550x1
600x1

No touch deads
375/3x3

Rdl
310/3x5

Power clean
132/175/195/220 x3

Vertimax
5x5 adding resistance for first 4 sets then no resistance last set.

Damn strong!

That’s an awesome looking gym you’re in.

What are no touch deads?

Thanks Null
O i start the dead at the top and lower down to mid shin like a reverse deadlift then back to lock out. Really seems to work my low back. Almost like a dimel dead but not quite.

That 600 looked effortless! You’re a FREAK!!! (in the nicest possible sense)

Where do you think your max is right now?

Thanks Brett, i have no idea…i was going to go to 630-650 next but figured i better cut my loses with the cuff.
Good news is its just inflamed and sore. Nothing that a few days of rest, stretching, ice and foam roll won’t cure.

nice pullin. heal up.

Thanks Pete, i think i had a little left. Shoulder was firing a warning round at me though.

This log is always the master class.
Nice work bench looked fast and pulls so smooth as always.

Do the deads raised 5" have a specific purpose? Or just to maintain variety?

Is that girl your “coach”?

And I agree with Kevin, your videos are like the master class. Tks for sharing with us less gifted folk.

Thanks Kev and Punny
Punny i am playing around with some lockout work, not sure if i’ll keep with it or not but does get some weight in my hand and give me some variation from always pulling from the floor.
Nope not my coach, just helps me out a bit.

Great work in here. Thanks for keeping this log, I’m learning a lot.

Well, I am also 195. I find this very disheartening. No wait…motivating. Yeah, that’s what I meant.

Lol Git. Your giving some of the Coan stuff a try right? How do you like it?
