I’m little surprised at some of the comments. The white guy is the one
that precipated the situation. I know he is very old and the young guy should
have probably ignored him.
But why should he have to put up with the spit shine the shoes comment. It was
clearly racially motivated. Could he say get me a sandwich boy or whatever crap.
Plus the young didn’t hit him either.

The first 5 seconds of the vid didn’t seem “testy” to me, so that leads me to believe what I wrote.
Also, did ya’ll notice how that old man never seemed nervous or anxious? 99.9% of the time if two or more people are about to get in a physical confrontation they get jittery. It is clear in the video that the old man walked away to the front of the bus. The situation should have ended there.
But it didn’t and the black dude walked up to him, got in his face and shoved him. He put his hands on the old man first. Whether he punched the old man first or not, he initiated the contact. Don’t put your hands on another man unless you are ready to deal with the consequences.

A Little Knowledge
I drove a city/campus bus while going to college. Many of the people have the same schedule day in - day out. I am sure these two ride the bus frequently and know of each other (I am guessing from the black guys comment on whoopin’ the EBM next time he sees him) from riding on the same bus through out the week.
So, there is likely a back story to this. I am guessing Old crazy white dude and young black punk do not particularly like each other for whatever reasons in the past. Probably young guy talking shit to people on the bus, EBM not tolerating the disrespect tries to verbally correct the youngster a few times in the past. Or any number of situations.

It was actually the black guy started it. His friends were filming and would obviously not include his instigating. Also if they did they would surly not put that in the video to be posted on Yuotube.

He was actually leading more with his left shoulder,but possibly caught standing more “square” considering the nature of what was going on. There are guys who have good power with non-dominant,lead hand to where it feels more than just a jab. I know someone who is similar to that.

You could be right. The follow up straight right definitely didn’t look as smooth as the first left, but that could be 'cause he was in ‘berserker mode’ and technical proficiency was out the window. But, in the second vid he gets in his “stance” a couple of different times and he’s leading with his left. Maybe he knows no sides, he only knows pain…

That’s what I was thinking. That “jab” he hit him with wasn’t just a floater, he threw it with purpose. Once ambilamps got stuck he didn’t know what was going on.
What are they saying? I can’t hear the audio. It’s pretty clear what goes on though I suppose.
On a relevant note, I once read a martial arts magazine where a woman had written in to thank an a anonymous martial artist; the guy had taken on a group of three guys who were physically bullying her son (who had Down’s Syndrome). The guy beat fuck out of the three of them. The woman gave him special thanks for making her son laugh by kicking one of them up the arse as he tried to run away. I wish I’d kept it, the story brought a fucking tear to my eye.
