I don’t think he ripped off his shirt, I think he took it off so no one would grab his shirt. That is one of the first things I do before a fight, because you can throw the shirt back on if you have bruises and cuts but if he you leave it on it usually gets dirty.
Apparently what I originally wrote didn’t show up. I wrote (something along the lines of): This video is someone taking shit too far, too fast, and too seriously, what Epic Beard Man did was not - he simply did what needed to be done in that situation (someone getting in your face, pushing you, and saying they are going to stick their foot up your ass). Epic Beard Man was defintely justified, and I don’t think he should have been arrested for handing out that beat down.
It’s amazing the frequency and magnitude that people misunderstand a simple post. It’s also mind-numbing to read what some people think.
Women fighting is worse than men??? Oh my God. This may be the stupidest thing I’ve read in months. I’m sure in the history of fighting, there are a few women here and there that have done a good deal of damage to an opponent, but holy crap, let’s be real. When it comes to random physical altercations, i.e. a fight that starts at some bar, or on the bus, or at a pizzeria, men have to be 500 times more dangerous to each other than any two women.
And in this thread, we’re not talking about getting into a fight with a buddy of yours you’ve known for 7 years, where there’s a good chance you’ll get him in a headlock and then laugh over it later. We’re talking about a real fight where you have no idea if your opponent is armed, is an ex-con, has already murdered 3 people, just found out his wife is cheating on him and is itching for some blood, or is completely bluffing.
And to the dope who still insists it’s not appropriate to make character determinations based on isolated incidents, shut up already, it is very possible and appropriate to make plenty of determinations based sometimes on the smallest of details.
