I think a little shove to the chest barely qualifies as “attack”. Smashing in his face was a complete over-reaction, and I hope you were joking about “preserve your life”, because otherwise you’re seriously blowing it out of proportion.

Neither party was in the right, both were egging each other on. We didn’t see what started the whole thing, but they were BOTH acting like “goons”. And the old guy proceeded to lie about it, as the other guy clearly didn’t hit him in the face.
LOL @ Barely qualifies as an attack…

I wlll tell you first hand. If someone, anywhere in a public place puts their hands on me, be it a push or a shove, ESPECIALLY after I MOVED AWAY from the situation, I would break their face too. Regardless of if it was a thug black guy or a thug white guy who touched me.

I personally have only had fights with white people in my life which is jsut how life played out for me.

But seriously, people saying that the the white guy was wrong because it was racially motivated? Fuck off. Be color blind about it. Would you feel the same way if both dudes were black, or if both dudes where white?

What if it had been the opposite situation? where the black guy moved away and the white guy hit him? I would sure as hell be backing up the black guy because he DID THE RIGHT THING AND MOVED AWAY.

Moral of the story:

 1. If someone puts their hands on you, you have the right to defend yourself be it a push or a shove.

 2. You’re an idiot.

 3. Cut the racism/reverse racism out.

I agree with what you wrote, just wanted to point out there is no such thing as “reverse racism”.
Thanks.

I’m aware that there’s no such thing as “reverse racism”, but they say it enough on the news for dumb people to relate with.

Oh and I also wanted to mention the fact that the 3 people sitting and taping in the back of the bus were yelling things like “kick his white ass” and callin the old guy “pinky”. So the old white guy also probably felt he was being threatened by a group of people now.

We don’t know what started the argument initially, but it is clear that THREE people were saying intentional, equally as racial comments to ONE man.

3 > 1 = the Lone bearded guy probably felt even more threatened and was forced to defend himself after he was attacked.
HAHAHA OH MAN. This thread has gone to a whole other place.
IF the girls taping that were with the crazy guy with the shades then they were not his friends because even after he had his azz handed to him they just laughed at him. Plus no where in the video did he acknowledge they were even there.

Oh Pinky is a character from the 2nd and 3rd Friday Movies (great movies).

Everyone needs to chill on all the racist stuff, Who cares if one was black and the other white. Does it matter that much that! Does one carry the weight of there race on there back.

IF one man puts his hands on another man race be damned. He should expect a fight. I think this way not because of my race but because I was raised in Brooklyn NY and no matter if you are white/Black/Asian if you raise you PLACE your hand on another man in anger that IS an attack. To go a step further if you are coming at me in anger and close enough that your shadow touches mine I feel you already hit me so its time for me to hit back.

THE OLD MAN IS CRAZY, He is is bonkers. LOONEY TOONS NUTS! I wouldn’t shake his hand because he would take a swing at me. He has been tasered. There are pics of him screaming at a shop owner with a loaf of bread in his hands about the 49’ers (although I understand his hate for that team). But once he was touched in anger he did what anyone “I” know would do, hand out a azz beating.

The guy with the missing teeth, IS not the brightest light either. One he could not tell that the old boy was nuts and just let it go. 2. He told the old guy to move on because he was insulted and then followed him. DUMB. And if you can’t fight don’t raise your hands.

The hero in all of this was the bus driver. NOT once did he leave his seat. hahahahahahahahah not killing me for the pay I’m getting, oh man.

ALL IN ALL I LOVED THIS VIDEO!!! Watch it 3 times before I eat breakfast it puts a sparkle in my eye.

As usual, this turned into a chest-thumping, flame war.

Edit that for clarity.

Hahahaha!

BTW, after watching the second video I’m now convinced the old guy is Techno Viking’s dad.

There’s a video which includes, at the end, an interview with that girl:

Apparently she specifically looks to video interesting incidents.

That being the case, she may have been trying to egg the situation on as much as she could.

However, in fairness to the girl filming the video, I’m not positive that the comments are coming from her. Perhaps this is clear one way or another if one puts in the effort to determine it, but I haven’t.

And on the medical matter: I’ve since learned that whether or not he ever obtained an ambulance, he did in fact get paramedics.

I’m sorry, but I’m not going to have paramedics called for me for a bloody nose and busted lip. And I don’t think anyone paying his own way is going to do that.

An example of considerably money being completely wasted, driving up total health care expenses. This is inevitable when services are provided without the recipient being made to pay anything for them.
Bill Roberts wrote:
I was just using it as an example.

Every day every ER sees costs of at least tens of thousands of dollars from the same sort of thing: people who have no intention of paying and who do not need ER services, going there for treatment.

It’s not “free”: other people pay the burden. And it’s huge.

Bullshit ambulance pickups also are very expensive for OTHER PEOPLE.

But all this has become so ordinary today that it doesn’t even draw comment, generally.

I agree in the expectation that this guy felt he was “entitled” to the ambulance and ER treatment. Simply because that is such a common expectation these days, and because he wanted an ambalamps called.
I’ve spent my fair share of time in the ER LOL and Bill is 100% correct. You got people in there with a cold, upset stomach and other assorted boo boos and non-emergent maladies.

I’m little surprised at some of the comments. The white guy is the one
that precipated the situation. I know he is very old and the young guy should
have probably ignored him.

But why should he have to put up with the spit shine the shoes comment. It was
clearly racially motivated. Could he say get me a sandwich boy or whatever crap.
Plus the young didn’t hit him either.

The black dude couldn’t win no matter what he did. If he was capable of beating the shit of him,
he would be villified or if he shut up you would call him lily livered.

The white guy was an ignorant fuck that just happens to be able to handle himself quite well at an advanced age.
A Little Knowledge

I drove a city/campus bus while going to college. Many of the people have the same schedule day in - day out. I am sure these two ride the bus frequently and know of each other (I am guessing from the black guys comment on whoopin’ the EBM next time he sees him) from riding on the same bus through out the week.

So, there is likely a back story to this. I am guessing Old crazy white dude and young black punk do not particularly like each other for whatever reasons in the past. Probably young guy talking shit to people on the bus, EBM not tolerating the disrespect tries to verbally correct the youngster a few times in the past. Or any number of situations.

Plus, hasn’t this kid watched Gran Torino?
Nice catch. I too was thinking they knew each other.

I’m glad some of you are finally realizing that the girl filming was not “Pinky’s” friend. She was just being foolish for the camera.

Also,if you’ve seen Next Friday…you should understand why she called him “Pinky” in the first place.

That shit was like Airplane(lol,Bill)…Next Friday…and Chapelle Show’s “When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong” mixed together.

What? Bat shit insane? Seriously, that guy was a few cans short of a 6 pack. The guy was 6 foot 3,230 pounds, has a slight hunched,a grizzled beared, and walked like someone that should belong in a sanitarium. Would not be surprised if he was a Vietnam Viet.

Oh,lets not forget his shirt. Who wears a “I am a Motherfucker” tshirt? As we can see in that video, that shirt was not ironic as much as it is devastatingly true.
