Today was max out day. For some reason Robbie thought it was a good idea to through some fast sets of 225 in there. We argued about it, and I lost. 425 was a struggle, but I got it (raw PR). I thought I was done, but he said we were doing one more. We argued, and I lost again. It wasn’t even close. I was out of gas at that point.
Next week is a light week. Both of my shoulders are killing me, so I could use a deload.

Great reading about your 425, AFTER 15 reps w/225 and a bunch other weights’ “warmup”. If you guys weren’t alternating lifts, it reads like Robbie tried to kill you. Other good reading here too; regular sleeping, easing into early am lifting, great job, more time for life stuff. Human feces throwers are probably about your only issue now.
Check out Ben Pollack’s youtube December 1 benching tape. He also has good stuff on deadlifts and squats. Guy’s in grad school to apparently teach strength. A regular walking anatomy chart who deadlifts 800 at 198.
