Things picked up as I got rolling, and the next thing you know I was there two hours. It felt great.

Interesting how that works. Good job!

It is. It’s probably the days you don’t want to be there that really make the difference.

I wanted more today, but it was not to be. Looking back I didn’t sleep well again, my back was acting up and I probably overtrained my legs this week. A 20-pound weight loss probably has something to do with it too.
I’m heading to Miami on Saturday for a conference, so I’ll be off for a few days. I probably need the rest. Until then, I’m going to hit it super hard this week.

I took today off to get some work done around the house. We leave for Miami at 5:00 AM tomorrow. I could use the rest. My back, knee and shoulders are pretty beat up.
I had a guy spot me today who remembered me from the old gym. He commented on how I have slimmed down from back in the day.

We arrived home from Miami Thursday morning after getting shafted by the airline. Our flight home was delay because they did not have a crew. How does that even happen? This caused us to miss our connecting flight. I decided to rent a car for the final 15 miles home. We got home at 4:00 AM. Plus they lost our luggage. It did not arrive until 1:00 PM.
Today, I wanted four reps at 305. I’ll take three, however, after a week of drinking, poor sleep, and coast to coast travel.
Dam that’s a tough travel day for sure.
And yeah- the treadmill I tried was a challenge, but I’ll keep at it.
I went ballistic in the SLC airport some years back. There was a flight crew, but our flight from Atlanta was late. They closed to gate for my Idaho Falls leg. I could see the plane. The door was open. Luggage was being loaded. I was 50 yards from the plane. I should have rented a car for the now three hour lay over. But instead I just damn near neared Defcon IV. Suddenly a coworker appeared from her delayed LAX flight. She calmed me down. I apologize for the long post. But I feel your frustration. Still.
I think we all know the airlines don’t care. Was I going to drive from Washington State to Florida? Nope. We are their mercy. I keep getting an email saying they are still looking for our second bag, which we got back the next day. I’m just going to let them keep looking.

That felt pretty good tonight.
My boss and I flew to Pittsburgh once to pick up a new Peterbilt. Changed planes 4 times. Laid over 3 hrs in KC and then 13 hours in Chicago. I told him next time we are renting a car. I could have driven us here faster. And I meant it!
That’s a true story. This was the first time I have had an issue with this particular airline, but I guess they are all the same.
@Crippler56 After my acting like an a-hole, of which I realized I had been doing. I did go back and apologize. It was just unbelievably frustrating. That does not excuse my sudden, and rare, ballistic moment.

Superset-

It was a really fast one tonight. I had an event to attend.
I fly to and from the Philippines twice a year. Usually fly either JAL (Japan Airlines) or ANA (All Nippon Airlines). Never have a problem until I hit the US and have to use a code share flight, usually United, to get to my hometown. Then all kind of crap happens. Not having a crew is because the crew scheduled would exceed the max flying hours and been put on crew rest.
