Last night I ordered a weighed best and two 20-pound plates for the vest from Rogue. I’m excited to take things to the next level.

I was out of town for a couple of days for a conference. It was a nice break. I was in need of a deload today, but I still got a lot done. I added five pounds to my pull-ups today. It took me two sets to crank out 20.

I think I stole them from you when you. The first time I did them was 20 from the floor. My shoulders killed me the following week. This the second time I have done 10 from the benches. It’s a great pump.

My change in DL stance continues. I feel much more powerful. I can’t recall when I purchased 5/3/1, but it has to be at least 10 years ago. Per my spreadsheet, 7 reps at 3/3/3 are a PR. Of course there are a lot of factors that go into that, but I think it is a good indication the change is working.

The plates arrived yesterday and the vest today. Of course it rains on Weighed Walk Wednesday, but I was not going to pass this up. Due to the rain, and meeting later tonight, I left some in the tank. I can tell you the extra 40 pounds makes a difference.
